    2000 and Fun!

A classic must see! The 4k looks amazing, the story is an all timer and the remixed score sounded incredible. Even non sci-fi fans should check this out for the spectacle and pop culture references that will now make sense.

Still mind-blowing, nearly 60 years later!

2001: A Space Odyssey was released in 1968, and now, nearly 60 years later, the film is still a mind-blowing, lyrical trip, well worth seeing in this 4K Blu-Ray prentation at home, preferably on a OLED TV. Surprisingly, the special effects still hold up, as the space scenes look realistic even in 2025. The film contains little dialogue, and as much of the soundtrack uses classical music, the film doesn't feel dated. Eschewing standard narrative structure and containing long sequences, this film may not be everyone's cup of tea, but it is a thought provoking film that explores theme s including the possibility of extraterrestial live, AI, technology and the evolution of mankind, which are all still extremely relevant to us now. This is an amazing film, best watched in this format for a crystal clear picture and awesome sound quality!
