About this product
Despite the weather being rotten, worthless alcoholic Bernie (Mark Burns) thought it the right time to take his estranged little daughter Winnie (Beatrice Edney) on a jaunt to a seaside town. He'd pretty much leave the child to her own devices as he'd try to charm, and cadge drinks, from the various locals he encountered. Downbeat, thought-lost study, adapted by Roman Polanski from a Heere Heeresma novel, co-stars Fiona Lewis, Eva Dahlbeck, Jack McGowran, and a pseudonymously billed Peter Sellers. 92 min. Widescreen; Soundtrack English; Subtitles English (SDH); featurettes. Region Free
