For the follow-up, The Battle Of Everything, John Ondrasik went into the studio with Bill Bottrell, best known for his production work with Sheryl Crow. On the influences behind Battle and it's recording, Ondrasik said, InchWhen I was a kid I could put on Dark Side of the Moon, turn up the sound in my headphones, lie down in the dark, and go away.
