A Smile as Big as the Moon - DVD

Follow the real-life adventures of six tiny animals as they journey into the unknown -- across rainforests, mountains and wetlands. The cast of animals includes a family of endangered golden-headed lion tamarins in Brazil, gymnastic bushbabies in South Africa and the rare Taiwanese Formosan pangolin -- the world's most trafficked animal. Against the odds, the animals overcome huge obstacles, giant predators and natural disasters in their quest for food, family and survival. Working with scientists and conservationists around the world, the series captures the dramatic adventures faced by these tiny but mighty creatures.

In the late '80s, Stacey Bess (Emily VanCamp) found the idealism and enthusiasm with which she pursued her teaching degree sorely tested when the only assignment she could land was in a ramshackle Salt Lake City homeless shelter. She determined that those kids deserved no less than her best-and the difference she made in their lives is movingly drawn in this adaptation of Bess' memoir "Nobody Don't Love Nobody"; Steve Talley, Treat Williams, Timothy Busfield, Kiersten Warren also star. 95 min. Widescreen; Soundtrack English.

Family-business party planner Mia (Adelaide Kane) knew it was going to be a big lift when she took on a tech entrepreneur's New Year's bash with her parents out of town... and then brother Jake (Jason Cermak) went and broke his leg. His visiting college buddy David (Carlos PenaVega) offered to step in-and the on-the-fly shindig may wind up with romance on the menu. Charming Hallmark opus co-stars Pauline Egan, Jessica Steen, Cameron Bancroft. 95 min. Widescreen; Soundtrack English Dolby Digital 5.1; Subtitles English (SDH).
