This is a customer service review. Not product I purchased the projector to work on my cookie drawing. Best buy sent the used one to me when i paid it in fullprice. Also one of the stand feet was missing. Im not buying open box product bestbuy need to check their product before sending out to customer.

This mini projector was very easy to use and gave a good, clear picture. The focus adjustment on the top made it easy to clarify the images. If purchasing this projector, consider these 2 things: 1-it is a mini projector. As such, it isn't very bright and must be shown in a dark space, preferably on a highly reflective surface. TO get an image large enough to see the projector must be moved away from the screen or surface. Unfortunately, that further dims the image. 2-the projector is very small and weighs very little. It can be tricky to set up and keep level and straight. I taped mine to a book then used various methods to level it. Other than these 2 concerns, the projector performed well for us.

Over the years I have used other, bigger systems for projecting images onto cakes and cookies. These systems work, however quite often they are too big and clumsy making the whole experience not enjoyable. This tiny projector works well and is a joy to use! After you figure out your needed cables and connections it takes no time to get out and set up. I have cabling set up for my smart phone, tablet and laptop so that I can use any of them as needed. One thing that potential buyers have to know is that to charge it up and to use it, you have to provide two USB connections and use the power cord that comes with it. I have mine plugged into 2 USB outlets on a power strip that provides plenty of power via USB. Light duty USB power connectors that provide only small currents may not work right, which is where you are seeing some of the negative reviews from. Others folks are expecting this projector to replace others that cost many times what this one costs. You don't expect a pocket knife to fully replace a chefs knife and you shouldn't expect a pocket projector to fully replace a full size projector. All in all this is an economical solution that works for my needs.

Seemed like a really nice Mini Projector. Power up really fast and had really good Video using a SD card. I could not get it to work with my S9 Phone. Tried every cord/cable Geek squad recommended but it did not connect. So I returned unit for a refund minus the restocking fee that BB didn't tell me about when I bought it. Projector seemed sturdy, had a nice little tripod to set it up on. Easy to use interface.

Small enough to to place in your pocket and good quality picture

Item works very well for the size. It show a good picture needs to dark.

I was amazed for $100 helps me transfer images for wall murials, quick presentations or just showing pictures to friends. Does need to be quite dark as its lumins are low But the built in battery and mini HDMI make use from a mobile device a snap.

The projector is awesome. We use this for movie night. It plays really clear and we love it.

Takes some adjusting to get clear image quality, otherwise it works well. Also runs pretty loud and hot.

I use it to decorate cookies and it works perfect. I attach my IPhone to it, but I did have to buy an adapter for around $15.

Works great when it's working. It gets hot quick then shuts off until it cools.

Used to project images onto canvas for art, this little projector is superb. Clear colorful images even in modest light up to five feet away, and able to be used at much closer or farther distance to viewing surface. At greater distance dark environment will be required for best viewing. In all cases the images are terrific. sd card storage is convenient, supplied mini tripod is convenient for close and moderate viewing while screw In...not included..tripods can be attached for outdoor or large room viewing. Highly recommended for both price and performance, as well as very manageable size.

Short life expectancy and tends to overheat and shut off

I was initially suspicious that something so small would do what it does. All my suspicions were unfounded. Great projector.

User interface is a bit complicated, but good projector overall.

This is great! We use them on job sites in construction.

Works as it was advertised to. Grand daughter loves it.

It has so many uses beyond its intended purpose, I use it for decorating cookies and cupcakes, I found it much easier to use it on my iPad so I did end up getting the adaptor cable for it. My daughter uses it to help with her drawing, she 8 and she can use alone.

Have only tried to use 1 time. It is a little difficult to use
