With this recording too the Abegg Trio defends it's place in the top class of the world-best trios. But musical magic like this requires a great deal of courage and risk-taking with a breakneck interpretation these explosions of emotion and the gentlest pianissimo effects literally take place on the border of a musical nothing. The fact that the three musicians master this task so easily is due above all to their perfect coordination. (HifiVision) Inchthe Abegg's distinctive musical performances will ensure that anyone who purchases this disc will cherish the investment.Inch (Classics Today)
