Hound - I Know My Enemies - VINYL LP

The hounds of hell are at it again! Disguised in a sheepskin coat, HOUND formed in 2014 to breathe new life into the sound of old-school hard rock. But the sheep was quickly unmasked as a four-piece monster, which from then on gained a reputation in the European club scene as a wild and extraordinary live act. The new HOUND album InchI Know My EnemiesInch is the catchiest and at the same time most versatile work of the band so far. Classic hard rock combined with funky, bluesy, punky and psychedelic elements. The predecessor InchSettle Your ScoresInch (2018) already enthused the fans as well as the international press, which celebrated the album as a Inchseamless masterpieceInch in equal measure. The new songs come across as both more mature and more playful. Hound tell enigmatic, dark and at the same time hopeful stories. And every single track just bubbles with devotion and appetite.

Ended - Into The Nothing - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

Ended's third album 'Into The Nothing' is an artistic triumph that affirms the band's place among the Scandinavian masters of melodic metal. Riffs are dark and sinister, guitar solos blazing, vocals soaring above the crushing beat of the rhythm section. The real strength of 'Into The Nothing' is evident already within the opening verses of the album, where dual voices and melodies meet above thundering waves of tuned down guitars and thrashing drums - almost cinematic. Painting landscapes and setting the scene for narratives of political conspiracies, human pride, spiritual awakening, the birth of new generations and death of human civilization. Clocking in over the hour, this colossus of melodic metal takes the listener on a journey through light and darkness. The delivery is as energetic as the bands live shows. What also makes Ended unique is the way the band combines dire metal riffs and progressive mind bends with ascending harmonies and acoustic elements that resemble the lighter side of prog rock. The members have been releasing music under the name Ended since 2014 debut album 'About to Fall'. The band shifted gears when recruiting singer Micky Bergqvist in 2016, settling on a more powerful sound than ever before. The new album is nothing less than a continuous leap in the same direction. As for the protagonist of the title track, the time has come to embrace this dark and twisted symphony. The time has come to step Into the Nothing.

Static Abyss - Aborted From Reality - VINYL LP

Although a relatively new act itself, Static Abyss comprises of longstanding members of the US metal scene. The band consists of the duo of Greg Wilkinson (Guitars/bass) & Chris Reifert (drums/vocals), both members of legendary American masters of sickness Autopsy, with Greg (also of cult act Deathgrave) recently becoming the band's new permanent bass player for the band's 'Morbidity Triumphant' opus. 'Aborted From Reality' follows swiftly on from Static Abyss' 2022 debut, 'Labyrinth Of Veins', itself a wild & contagious ride through a nightmarish soundscape. The album presents a stark contrast between a brutal wall of riffs & crawling darkly hypnotic guitar leads burying themselves under the skin & combines for a sick & unnerving experience through Death Metal combined with Crust & Doom elements. Chris' unmistakable vocals come spewing from the depths of insanity in this soundtrack to an anxiety-filled dimension, backing up the twisted riffs from Greg's own cauldron of mental chaos. 'Aborted From Reality' was recorded at Earhammer Studios in Oakland, CA, & Great American Music Hall, with engineering, mixing & mastering overseen by Greg himself. Following on from the debut , cover art appears once again courtesy of All Things Rotten. This edition of 'Aborted From Reality' is presented on limited edition Toxic Green vinyl, including printed inner sleeve with lyrics.
