About My Father - BLU-RAY [Standard]

Everyone's favorite daredevil Johnny Knoxville is back to his hilariously painful antics in the upcoming comedy ACTION POINT. Knoxville stars as D.C., the crackpot owner of a low-rent, out-of-control amusement park where the rides are designed with minimum safety for maximum fun. Just as D.C.'s estranged teenage daughter Boogie comes to visit, a corporate mega-park opens nearby and jeopardizes the future of Action Point. To save his beloved theme park and his relationship with his daughter, D.C. and his loony crew of misfits risk everything to pull out all the stops - and stunts - making for another wild ride from the star of BAD GRANDPA and JACKASS.

For the coming Fourth of July, Sebastian Maniscalco (playing a fictionalized version of himself) had two options Spend it with the loaded and eccentric family of his fiancée Ellie (Leslie Bibb), or with his recently widowed immigrant hairdresser dad Salvo (Robert de Niro). When Ellie's fix is to bring Salvo along to meet her clan, the stage is set for plenty of culture clash calamity in this comic corker co-starring Kim Cattrall, David Rasche, Anders Holm, Brett Dier. 89 min. Widescreen; Soundtrack English.

An aging comedian tours the California desert, lost in a cycle of third-rate venues, novelty tourist attractions, and vain attempts to reach his estranged daughter. By day, he slogs through the barren landscape, inadvertently alienating every acquaintance. At night, he seeks solace in the animation of his onstage persona. Fueled by the promise of a lucrative Hollywood engagement and the possibility of rekindling a relationship with his daughter, he trudges through a series of increasingly surreal and volatile encounters.
