A: No, it does not come with virus protection.
A: To the best of my knowledge it has got to be IPS. All Acer higher resolution screens that I have seen lately are all IPS. I own the older model Nitro 5 with !5 processor, H suffix, 8 GB, 1050ti video card and it has IPS. I could be incorrect, but I'm usually right. I will check into it and get back at a later date. The guys at Best Buy creating these new model updates are making mistakes on a regular basis cutting and pasting major sections and leaving incorrect specs. I have heard some complaints about Screen Bleed but have not seen it myself. As far as angle viewing, my little Nitro 5 can be seen from Major angles and maintain good video. Mike R.
