Yes I would recommend this for someone that isn't going to be using a lot of intense programs that use a lot of memory. The size is nice and compact. Not sure about the touch screen as I don't use it. Wish it had 3 USB ports like my other Laptops do. Can't use the Flash drive and plug in the Sewing machine when I have the mouse plugged in. I am not a big fan of Mouse pads and I use a external mouse all the time. This is used for Embroidery Designs to create and alter them for sewing. The program required 1TB computer to run. It seems like in the middle of what I am doing it almost freezes or closes the program in the middle of my working. If I didn't do a lot of saving the designs I would loose my work. Thinking I need to add more memory or something to keep up with an old person. I save my finished projects to external hard drives to save room on this computer, thinking that should help free up memory. Not sure it is helping. This was bought only for an Embroidery program and is not used for anything else. Maybe what I get out of this Acer - Aspire 14 +AI Laptop Intel Core Ultra 5 226V 2.1GHz 16GB RAM 1TB SSD FHD Touch is it would be a good starter Laptop for someone that isn't doing a lot of work on it. Price was definitely worth giving it a try.

Battery Life is outstanding! Can complete multiple tasks without any lag.
