Q: Is this laptop good for a college student?
A: In terms of being lightweight and easy to shove in a book bag, yes. Other than that... no. It's hard to type smoothly because the keyboard materials are so cheap and light it's hard to push the buttons and the entire computer falls backwards constantly due to the tablet itself being much heavier than the keyboard. On top of being inconvenient to write anything on, the system is so slow that it's almost impossible to use a browser without the webpages failing to load. It would be difficult to submit work or even do research because any webpage takes minutes to load, if at all. Forget live feeds or having multiple tabs open... even trying to open a browser takes over a minute to load and often fails.
