About this product
Action Toolbelt is Long Island's newest sound. Their music is completely original, yet strangely familiar, fitting somewhere in-between Emo, Punk, Power Pop, and Indie Rock. Drawing most of their influences from the roots of what you hear today, Action Toolbelt's sound is best described as Inchcollege rock,Inch similar to the likes of Husker Du and Replacements from the late 80's, and early 90's Alternative bands like Superchunk, Archers of Loaf and the Pixies. Instead of trying to break all kinds of new musical ground, they create refreshing sound by revitalizing good indie rock with great production and songwriting that is seriously addicting. Their hooks set themselves deep into your subconscious the first time you hear them.

Digitally remastered and expanded edition. The second of The English Beat's three albums expanded to include bonus tracks and B-sides. Wha'ppen reflects the band's signature melange of musical styles and influences, shifting from a heavy reggae/ska/punk sound to a more eclectic sound that included African, steel drum, and dub influences for a wholly original sound. Social Conscious and politically oriented lyrics that remain as relevant today as the context of the album's original during the 1981 riots in England.

Cheatahs, present this compilation of their two 2012 EPs. The sound recalls the glory days of Shoegaze (Swervedriver, My Bloody Valentine, the Boo Radleys etc.), but with a level of songcraft so many of their contemporaries lack. Both EPs were recorded in London by the band's bass player, Dean Reid and mixed by Dean and the band. Cheatahs tour North America with friends and fellow Londoners, Veronica Falls, in March.
