What an odyssey this movie is. Great choice for 4K, although I did think it would have a slip cover based on the picture. Still an awesome buy though.

While many Science fiction stories ask, "What if we're not the only ones in the universe?", this movie asks, "But what if we are?"

super filmic image and interesting movie definitely not the greatest movie but entertaining and technically impressive

I noticed this title on sale and I had to take it. It was in great condition and was pleased with the available digital code. It was an overall great addition to my 4K collection.

It has a complicated father/son relationship plot line which is interesting. James Gray (director) always makes good movies.

I thought this was a great movie. Some say it was ‘ boring’ but I didn’t feel it was. Brad Pitt did a exceptional job on it. The ending may have been anti climatic, but overall it’s a well done movie.

A great movie about a true story of space and more space

To say that I’m a Sci-Fi buff is an understatement. Having said this, this film is unlike anything I’ve seen in this genre. The 4k version is splendid especially on an OLED, I have the LG C8. The acting is very good and the movie clocks in 2hrs 5 min but I actually wish it were longer I love to watch films and then compare notes with my coworkers because there a lot of things in this one that seem defy certain logic (even Spock ) wood agree with me! Lol! But I picked it up at Best Buy for $13 bucks how could I turn that down! The reason for the 5 stars is because I’ve never anything quite like this!

Of those films that leave you with a great taste in your mouth for the wonderful images, a journey through the solar system to try to find your father and solve the mysteries of why the first mission failed

Love this film. May not be for everyone, but it was well made.

If you’re looking for a great movie then you’ll want to own this. It’s will keep your attention, is entertaining and has an awesome storyline. Plus the colors and scenery are breathtaking. Enjoy.

Went online looking for movies 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray. Found Ad Astra and drove to store and purchased on sale for $14.99. Unbelievable low price, WIN!

The refrigerator is good, however it came with a dented handle. We have not heard anything from Best Buy about replacing the handle even tho the installer said we would so I cannot give a good review until the repair is made.

This was my take away from this film: It is the story of a son coming to terms with, and trying to find closure to, the strained relationship he had with his father and the great lengths he goes to do so. I saw this as an allegory of a family member facing the traumas of his past and dealing with trauma of the present as the father is slowly succumbing to a severe cognitive decline (i.e. Alzheimer's disease). I don't know if this was the intention of writer director James Gray, but all great works of art have endless interpretations.

Quality picture and sound. Wasn’t really my favorite choice for a movie.

I loved this movie. It resonated on an emotional frequency at a pace that I loved, and that totally enveloped and focused me. I understand somewhat the one star reviews because this is not for everyone. It is a slow, deep meditation of being human, being closed down, struggling to open up to life, and the grace and beauty of the place we call home. Brad Pitt was excellent. This film is like classical music. This particular piece fully engaged me and I value that.

Good movie, but not great. Ad Astra defined "to the stars"... Interesting premise, son searching for his father lost somewhere in space. Expect slow paced film with lots of dialogs and scenes of space flight. Ad Astra shares similar concepts with Interstellar. Recommended

good movie. i got it on sale for 4 bucks and it includes the 4k disc, the blu ray, and the digital code as well. it's a steal at that price. Just don't go in expecting the second coming of Interstellar.
