SIMPLIFIED INSTALLATION
This installation harness requires the iDatalink Maestro ADS-MRR or ADS-MRR2 module to simplify radio replacement for Select Volkswagen and Audi Vehicles 2002-16 while retaining factory features.

The harness allows you to keep the original steering wheel controls for functions like volume, seeking, and more with an aftermarket radio as well as any factory amplifier that may be installed in the vehicle.

This Maestro ADS-MRR radio replacement and steering wheel interface allows you to control an aftermarket radio from the steering wheel of your compatible vehicle with programmable buttons that you can assign functions to from the Internet.
The VW1 head unit ready radio replacement T-harness for select 2002-2016 Volkswagen & Audi vehicles is compatible with both the Maestro RR and Maestro RR2 (sold separately). This harness solution offers a true plug and play installation when combined with any of our 5 new head unit adapters that connect directly to the aftermarket radio. It retains all your steering wheel controls, the MFI display, the vehicle settings menu, the factory amplifier, and the factory backup camera on some vehicles. The iDatastart ADS-THR-HK6 T-harness connects the iDatastart CMHCXA0 HC remote start module to select Hyundai and Kia push-to-start vehicles. It interfaces with the vehicle’s electrical databus, enabling remote engine start/stop and basic factory security control. Installation usually requires one to four wiring connections.
