Not for short people

Placed it a bit too high and doesnt detect motion from shorter people in household. Instructions say place at 8 ft level and still doesn't motion until zi moved it to 7 feet.

The Blue by ADT starter set I bought included only one motion detector so I added another. Set up couldn't have been easier. I found conflicting instructions in the box and online about how high it can be mounted and still be effective, but I have one at about 7' and another at 9', and both seem to work fine. Adding the second one to the app was also simple.

Purchased a system direct from Blue by ADT and needed an extra motion sensor. I was glad to find it at Best Buy locally. Setup was a breeze. I used the screws as well as the adhesive. Works great. I have found Blue by ADT to be wholly superior to SimpliSafe and others, with far superior US-based support

Terrible quality. Battery died in a couple days. No help from Blue. Definitely recommend you stay away from ADT and this product.
