A: You can purchase the 'grow anything seed pods' and grow any seeds that you want. Right now I am growing 2 different types of lettuce and heirloom cherry tomatoes that I bought separately. So far the lettuce taste great and grows super fast. The tomatoes are still growing and have not produced any fruit just yet.

Q: What do you do with all the roots
A: For the most part, you will leave the roots alone. Cutting or tearing roots from the plants can shock them and cause your Plants to die earlier than anticipated. One thing you can do to help them stay away from the Pump and Float is to perform regular rinse and refills on the water to keep them loose and less knotted into the system.
Q: What seed pods come with this system?
A: Heirloom salad garden(black seeded Simpson, red sails, deer tongue, marvel of 4 seasons, Paris island & Rouge d’ hover)

Q: Can you use your own seeds, or are you forced to purchase their seed pods?
A: You can buy the 'grow anything pods' separately
Q: Can you grow tomatoes and other vegetables?
A: Yes. AeroGarden sells pods with those seeds already, or they sell empty pods that you can use to germinate your own seeds.
A: I just bought the Bounty in February 2021. It does not have a time backup. Electric off - you need to reset.
