A: The seed pods are only for use in an aero garden kit. The seeds are sealed in the pods for use in a hydroponic aero garden. There is no dirt as these grow in water with nutrients added to the water. Hopefully I've answered your question.

A: Doesn't look like any Lavender I've ever seen. Mine sprouted two weeks ago and have broad leaves with purple patches in the center. Came in the herbal tea collection. Kinda looks like basil. Labeled Lavender..
