After.Life - BLU-RAY

Young couple Paul (Justin Long) and Anna (Christina Ricci) are toying with the prospect of marriage when they have a chance encounter with Eliot (Liam Neeson), a mysterious undertaker who claims he can speak with the dead. When Anna becomes caught in the otherworldly realm between life and death, she risks being buried alive. Will Eliot help her, or is he being driven by darker motivations?

Michael Biehn of TERMINATOR and TOMBSTONE fame makes his acclaimed debut as writer/director with this shocker about a young stripper (Jennifer Blanc of Dark Angel and THE DIVIDE) fleeing a depraved murder by two police detectives. But when she bangs on the cabin door of a backwoods recluse (Biehn), the situation takes even more grisly twists. Here, there will be lust, violence and vengeance. And in the end, who will be the most unexpected victim of all? Ryan Honey, Denny Kirkwood and Danielle Harris (HALLOWEEN, HATCHET II) co-star.

What happens to us when we die? It's a question man has asked since the beginning of time. Do we live briefly as physical beings then simply vanish into oblivion, or do we live on in spirit form? Why are we here, and how did we come to be here? Scientists may be closer to answering these and other questions than ever before with the largest study ever done on near-death and out-of-body experiences - the results of which have huge implications on how we view death. The results suggest that our consciousness does not get annihilated when we die. More than 8 million Americans have reported Near Death Experiences that include floating outside of their bodies, moving rapidly through a tunnel toward a light or seeing deceased loved ones. Perhaps death is not an end, but a beginning as we enter new worlds of existence we can only imagine.
