The model is made of diecast metal with some plastic parts and does not have any openings. Dimensions are approximately L-4, W-2, H-2.5 inches. The M3 Stuart, officially Light Tank M3, was an American light tank of World War II, with the improved M5 entering service later. It was supplied to British and other Commonwealth forces under lend-lease before the U.S. entered the war and was used by U.S. and Allied forces until the end of the war. The British called it "Stuart" after Confederate General J. E. B. Stuart, while in U.S. service it was known as Light Tank M3 and M5. Stuarts first saw combat in the North African campaign, with about 170 used by British forces in Operation Crusader (November–December 1941), and were the first American-crewed tanks to engage in tank-versus-tank combat in the Philippines in December 1941 against the Japanese.
