After five years' institutionalization for a homicide, autistic Manny DeSilva (Lou Diamond Phillips) didn't have a lot of options beyond working the night desk at a shabby Reno hotel. Between the wary cop (James McDaniel) who arrested him, a drug dealer (Glenn Plummer) and his sexy girlfriend (Tracy Middendorf) and a paraplegic prospector (Bruce Weitz) who's a bit too kindly, trouble's about to sign the register. Overlooked neo-noir co-stars Peter Onorati, Edoardo Ballerini. 94 min. Widescreen; Soundtrack English; Subtitles English; featurette; deleted scene; theatrical trailer.
