Ages and Ages - Divisionary - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

The music of Artur Lemba has been strangely neglected, even in his native Estonia - although during his lifetime (1885-1963) he was held in high regard as pianist and teacher. That oversight is all the more surprising in view of the expansive, passionate lyricism of his writing - listeners who enjoy the music of Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninov are likely to warm to Lemba's full-blooded Romantic style. This second in a pioneering series discovering his chamber music reveals three expansive, big-hearted works full of personality.

Modern progressive rock band Coheed and Cambria's upcoming studio album is Volume Two of the double concept album entitled, THE AFTERMATH. Volume One, THE AFTERMATH ASCENSION, was released on October 9, 2012. Musically, THE AFTERMATH sees the band perfecting their powerhouse progressive rock, soul and even pop landscapes. The dual also marks the return of original drummer Josh Eppard, who the band parted ways with in 2006, bringing with him his benchmark percussive grooves.

2015 album from the black metal band. Ages was formed during the harsh Swedish winter of 2011. Into existence came InchFrom the Ashes of TimeInch, the first in line of Ages songs. A distillate of dormant black metal urges, the spawn of years of abstinence. After intense times of composing, producing and recording, eight songs have merged into one The Malefic Miasma. To enforce the rigorous quality set out by Andreas Olander (Volturyon, ex-Evangeli) and Daniel Beckman (ex-Evangeli, ex-slumber), Ages recruited Brice Leclercq (ex-Dissection, ex-Night rage). A veteran bassist, renowned in the Swedish metal scene. Reactions upon releasing the first songs where overwhelming and soon a steadfast fan base was established. With the releasing of this album, Ages seeks to spread the enlightening words of reason, not only to the mere horizon, but beyond.
