Air Eagles - DVD

Arthur Conan Doyle's swashbuckling rogue Brigadier Gerard comes to life in this silent costume drama produced by the legendary Cecil B. DeMille.

Initially, popular Egyptian movie star George Fahmy (Fares Fares) dismissed the government's interest in having him play President Sisi in a biopic about his role in Morsi's overthrow. He'd quickly learn that was the wrong response, as retaliatory pressure was put on himself, family, and colleagues... and even after signing on to the film, the intrigues would continue escalating in danger. Tarik Saleh's Istanbul-shot effort co-stars Lyna Khoudri, Amr Waked, Zineb Triki, Cherien Dabis 128 min. Widescreen; Soundtrack Arabic; Subtitles English; theatrical trailer. In Arabic with English subtitles.

When American fighter pilot Ted Masters (Tim Thomerson) is shot down and held for execution by a fanatical Mideast despot, the government's hands were tied. That wasn't what Masters' determined son Doug (Jason Gedrick) and old colleague Chappy Sinclair (Lou Gossett, Jr.) wanted to hear... so they scheme to hijack a pair of F-16s and conduct the rescue themselves! There's non-stop thrills and aerial stunts in this of-it's-time actioner; David Suchet, Larry B. Scott, Caroline Lagerfelt also star. 117 min. Standard; Soundtrack English Dolby Digital 5.1.
