Q: is this tray all wire mesh or is there a tray on the bottom? i cannot tell by the pics. ty.
A: Ronnie, the answer to your question is YES. The tray is all wire mesh with an approximately 3/8 solid rod that is welded on to the bottom of tray. This piece is solid on the 2 shortest sides and acts like the support feet on the 2 longest sides. the 2 longest sides have a type of "down" loop in 4 places and acts like the main support for the tray. You can lay the tray down anywhere and these points will be what the tray will rest on. The loops are evenly spaced across the bottom which give it a solid support. If you are buying the oven with "air fryer", I recommend buying it. It will be worth it. We love it.
A: The LG Air fry tray is made from aluminum, which is a durable and heat-conductive metal. It is not made of stainless steel. The tray is coated with a non-stick material, which ensures easy food release and makes cleaning a breeze. This non-stick coating allows you to cook with less oil, promoting a healthier cooking experience. -Francine
