Works great. Quiet noise. Drain water from tube during the summer. Cools great.

Affordable! Quiet! Easy setup! We are currently using it as a air conditioner, we have yet to try the heating function. Love that it has a timer and a fan sweep option.

Easy to hide lights. If using a 2 port system you have tape the side door vent. Doesn't come with intake connection kit. you can tape ^' to 4' duct converter on it and vent in with a fan and a 4" duct using the 6" for exhaust. Its a good unit.

The unit pushes out cold air but it has a lot of flaws. The top is flat so condensation just sits there and builds up leading it to drip down over and into the unit which seems unsafe. It does so a good job cooling a room and is powerful but it just doesn't seem to be made very well, especially for how expensive it is.

I have a few different units from different manufacturers, this ine is by far the most powerful yet the quietest. It has no problems cooling or heating a large open space in a hot desert.

Great cooling, low noise. Haven't tried the heater yet. Internal condensate container and pump would be nice.

I purchased two of them. Cools down the room quickly and quietly. Easy to install.

This thing is terrible. I had a smaller 6000 btu window unit and got this to replace it. It didn't cool nearly as well, and constantly would need to be drained. I have a smaller version of this type of ac machine in my bedroom and even that is night and day better. Ended getting another window style unit again that was 8000 btu's and it can keep the room 61 degrees if I want. The coolest I could get a 400 square foot room with this thing was 76. I don't recommend it, and I have 4 different types of units, so take it from the dude that likes it cold..... this thing sucks. Unless 76 and running constant is your thing, then this is the one for you.

This portable air conditioner works really well. I have it in a south facing living room and kitchen. I have heard that portable a/c does not work as well as a window unit, however I was not disappointed in this unit.

It cool my 500 sq ft room with no problem but on heat you have to drain the water every 6 to 8 hours

This unit made strange noises from day one. I bought it due to its heat pump ability. I fogured it could be used to cut down on winter heating bills. Well, about two months of ownership now, the thing started leaking all over my upstairs loft. It wasnt caught until it saturated the ceiling below costing me tons of water damage. The unit is supposed to have a water full shut off, but that never turned on. When i inspected it, the water reservoir was actually empty. Seems either the condesor started leaking all over or the reservoir sprung a leak. Just for a test, i placed the unit in a basin and ran it again. After a few hours there was over an inch of water in the basin. So yeah, nothing like having a $400+ dollar paperwight now.

Does the job as advised. Have not tried the heat and will wait to do so in winter. Compared a few other manufacturers and I glad settled with this 2 in 1 unit.
