Alan Parsons - Time Machine - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

The Mediterranean Sea, enclosed by two continents, encircled by a multitude of different countries, cultures and languages, enjoys a rich and colorful diversity of musical expressions. With cross-migration and trade throughout history, though, we do find common or similar instruments, rhythms, and musical styles. In spite of all the differences, there is a 'Mediterranean flair' in all the works presented on this new album. Songs featured include pieces from Albania, Lebanon, Greece, Morocco, Syria, Libya, Croatia, Sardinia, Bosnia/Herzegovina, Italy, Turkey, Egypt, Israel, France, and more. The traditional folk musicians featured on the bring an authentic and natural flair to each and every work.

Alan Parsons Project - Essential Alan Parsons Project [COMPACT DISCS] Holland - Import date 07/26/2011

This concept album as the name suggests, is an album dedicated to the skies and learning how to master the art of flying. It stands up to anything Alan Parsons did earlier under the 'Project' moniker. It has a nice laid-back sound with lots of interesting layers. Great to listen to on a good set of speakers or headphones.InchOn AirInch was the second album by Alan Parsons (without the InchProjectInch). It is a somewhat underrated concept album on the theme of flight and the history of aviation, from the hot air balloons on the cover picture through to space travel. 10CCs Eric Stewart takes lead vocals for the soft ballad InchBlown By The WindInch, and the two InchBlue Blue SkyInch tracks which bookend the album.
