Alexandra Burke - Broken Heels - CD SINGLE

In a modern age of over-produced music with no heart, Sinead Burgess is no trend-follower. Paving the way as one of the few voices in the current music industry toting raw and honest music, this small town Australian-raised girl is making big industry waves, despite only moving to Nashville a year ago. Fresh off a 22 date U.K tour supporting major British country music act 'The Shires' (highest selling country act of all time in the U.K.), Burgess releases her stunning acoustic record 'Damaged Goods' after earning fans across the country, winning over iconic venues such as the Royal Albert Hall with just her voice & acoustic guitar. Burgess ' is the Singer/Songwriter & Multi- instrumentalist's first independent record after being with a major tag since the age of 16, a theme that can be heard in the heartbreakingly honest title track; 'Damaged Goods'. The record is a collection of real stories of her life, filled with stripped back, tainted yet calmly optimistic tones of a woman who has been through some sh*t. Whether it's the ballsy 'Momma Raised a Ramblin' Man', the classic roots/ blues inspired track about her being sick of feeling over looked in guitar stores as 'just another girl putting up with her boyfriend guitar shopping', or the challenging feeling of forbidden love never dying, as heard in 'Wildflowers of Colorado'. Recorded in 3 days at Parlor Studios in Nashville, TN, Sinead crafted this brilliant acoustic record as a one woman band; writing every song and playing the bulk of the instruments. The songs can be described as snapshots of her heart, carving out a multi- dimensional genre niche with Country, Americana & Rock roots. Her brutally honest, whole-hearted performances are gaining her much attention both in the U.S and the U.K, proving she is well and truly one to watch. Album Tracks 1. Somewhere Between and Vegas 2. InchI wanted to do uplifting, spiritual-rooted things. It was a place I could really use as an artistic outlet for all the things that didn't make sense with what I was doing in Story of the Year.
