There's something deadly in Davey Jones' locker (and it isn't Gorgo's old gym stuff). On the experimental undersea base DeepStar Six, a group of engineers and scientists installing a nuclear missile accidentally awakens a gigantic-and apparently very hungry-sea creature. Can the crew survive the monster's attacks or are they destined for a watery grave? Greg Evigan, Nia Peeples, Taurean Blacque, Nancy Everhard, Miguel Ferrer star in this gripping sci-fi thriller. 99 min. Widescreen (Enhanced); Soundtracks English DTS 5.1, DTS Lossless stereo; Subtitles English; audio commentary; interviews; isolated music score; behind-the-scenes footage; image gallery; more.
What's the connection between a space capsule that returns minus it's crew and some friends who go on a cave-exploring trip? Apparently it's a mysterious rock the spelunkers find and the deadly extraterrestrial creatures that emerge from it. What's the connection between the 1979 film InchAlienInch and this Italian-made sci-fi shocker? None, really, but that doesn't mean you won't be screaming. Mark Bodin, Belinda Mayne, Roberto Barrese star. AKA InchAlien 2 On Earth,Inch InchStrangers.Inch 85 min. Widescreen; Soundtracks Italian, English; Subtitles English; audio commentary; featurette. In Italian with English subtitles.
7 SINS is a searing, subversive horror anthology that reimagines the seven deadly sins through the twisted visions of underground cinema's boldest voices. Each segment explores a sin not by doctrine, but through raw, human impulse creating a portrait of desire, despair, and decay. The nightmare begins with Dario Almerighi's WRATH, where a jogger's barely contained rage explodes. Sam Mason-Bell's haunting ENVY follows a couple lured into a tragic erotic encounter, while SLOTH, from Francesco Foletto and Elisa Carrera Fumagalli, spirals into self-harm. Michael J. Epstein's PRIDE tackles religious repression and fractured identity. LUST, by Domiziano Cristopharo, explores a disturbing AI relationship. Jason Impey's GLUTTONY riffs on grindhouse cannibal flicks, while Poison Rouge's GREED closes the anthology with a harrowing tale of S*x work, debt and damnation. Dripping in gore, laced with nudity, and steeped in sorrow, 7 SINS is more than shock for shock's sake, it's a meditation on why we fall.
