I've spent the last few days testing the Alienware 15, and overall I've been really impressed. I used it mostly for gaming, but also for everyday stuff like browsing, YouTube, Discord, and some multitasking while gaming. The first thing that stood out was how solid the laptop feels. It has that premium Alienware build quality, but it doesn't feel overly bulky or heavy like some gaming laptops. The keyboard is comfortable, and the overall design looks clean without going overboard on the "gamer" aesthetic. Gaming performance was excellent during my testing. The RTX 5060 paired with 32GB of RAM handled everything I played smoothly, and the 165Hz display made gameplay feel responsive and fluid. Whether I was jumping into multiplayer games like Destiny 2 or playing more demanding titles like Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, I didn't notice any stuttering or slowdown. I was also happy with how well the cooling worked. The fans definitely ramp up during gaming sessions, but temperatures stayed under control and performance remained consistent. Alienware Command Center made it easy to tweak settings to my liking. What I liked: -Smooth gaming performance -Fast and responsive display -Plenty of RAM for gaming and multitasking -Premium build quality -Good thermal performance Things to consider: -Fans get noticeable when gaming -The trackpad is functional but wasn't my favorite -Not a laptop you'll want to game on battery power for long -Premium price tag One small thing I wasn't crazy about was the trackpad. It works fine, but it didn't feel quite as smooth or effortless to glide across as some other premium laptops I've used. That said, it's not a huge issue for me because when I'm gaming, I'm almost always using an external mouse anyway, and I imagine most PC gamers are doing the same. After a few days of testing, I think Alienware did a great job with this laptop. It delivers the gaming performance I expected while still being comfortable to use for everyday tasks. If you're looking for a gaming laptop that feels fast, well-built, and ready for modern games, this one is easy to recommend.

Allow some time for setup as the updates during setup and then running Windows update took about 90 minutes. This is a great computer. Minimal bloatware is greatly appreciated. When you buy a laptop with more RAM, larger hard drive, faster processor and better graphics card it will last much longer. The Alienware is sturdy. It weighs about 5 lbs., heavier than most laptops this size. Specs: 32 GB RAM 1 TB Hard Drive 3.8GHz AMD Ryzen 7 260 w/ Radeon 780M 1920x1200 Resolution 165Hz Refresh Rate NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Graphics 300 Nits Brightness Ports: 4 USB, 1 HDMI, 1 USB-C (charging), 1 headphone jack I always use a mouse so the trackpad is not a concern. The numerical keypad is a necessity for me as it allows wider use for business. A gaming laptop should be multi-functional – who wants to tote 2 laptops? Keyboard placement is good, maybe a little of a reach for my small hands. The system is air cooled and worked very well while gaming. Performance was excellent for gaming with no discernable lag time. The battery works well for regular use but you will need to plug in fairly soon when gaming. Graphics were excellent for me. I am a casual gamer so my standards are different than very serious gamers. You can change settings to customize your preferences. A little tweaking and you will be all set. Very happy with this laptop and highly recommended.

Lots of power packed into an under $2000 gaming pc! I'll go into the specs, 15 inch screen, 32gb memory, 1tb ssd, amd ryzen 7 260 processor, nvidia geforce 5050 graphics card and the high quality craftsmanship of the alienware look and feel of a high quality pc. The display hd looks great and pairs with the nvidia geforce 5060 graphics card to make gaming seamless and easy. I'm a gears of war guy and the graphics and gameplay look great and play great on this computer. With 1tb of ssd everything clicks and flows so much faster than your typical computer you will never go back to anything besides ssd again. For gaming though, my biggest gripe is always going to be more storage, and i feel most gaming pcs should be 2tb or more. This computer is perfect for gaming, videos or every day tasks for someone wanting to upgrade their computer, go to school or run big programs like photoshop that need the power to make work and school easier. Kinda reminds me of my older dell computer so not too much that makes it standout from your typical pc concerning looks, but the alienware symbol always feels high end when i see it. Love the light up keyboard and the fans flowing from the bottom dont get too loud when you kick it up a notch. Highly recommend for all groups and the price point is great for the features it has.

This is a great, very portable, powerful laptop that does its best to pull of work & play well! Alienware packed it with a 16:10 aspect, 15.3'' (1920 x 1200) 165Hz display that packs a not-so-great 62.5% sRGB color range, but more than makes up with the taller screen and fast refresh rate. They claim 2K, but I’d still settle the 1920 x 1200 resolution squarely in the FHD “1080P” range. Powering this spaceship is a powerful AMD Ryzen 7 260 processor with its 8 cores, 16 threads, 3.8GHz Base Clock that boosts up to 5.1 GHz that can easily handle today’s biggest games and is able to handle multitasking with ease. For a GPU, you have the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Graphics with 8 GB GDDR7 RAM to give you high framerate performance in even more demanding games! I was EXTREMELY satisfied with the gameplay I was able to run GTA V Enhanced with two of us were swapping back and forth (between deaths) on the different presets with and without V-SYNC, it was stable and steady. More at Very High RT (95-105 FPS) vs Maximum RT (45 low 60-75 FPS) but both were a ton of fun to play at! I set CS:GO 2 to frame lock at the screen’s 165Hz and was able to keep it steadily there at maximum settings. The laptop has a very powerful set of chips inside: 32GB (single DIMM, one open for expansion) LPDDR5 5600 MT/s Memory, 1TB M.2 2280 PCIe NVMe Solid State Drive Gen 4 slot and is fully upgradable! The 70WHr 4-cell battery offers a generous amount of runtime for video and web browsing. It got 14 hours streaming YouTube at 1080P60 at 50% brightness! Under normal usage I was able to consistently get 8-9 hours with almost two dozen Chrome tabs open, texting, Apple Music running, a hefty Excel Workbook, Word, and OneNote, not too bad for a gaming laptop! For I/O connectivity: • HDMI 2.1 • 2 x USB-A 3.2 • 2 x USB-C 3.2 Gen 2, 10GB/s and up to 100 watts PD charging in! • 180-watt DC in • RJ-45 Ethernet • 3.5mm Combo Audio Jack The 1080P (FHD) camera array microphone system supported by dual microphones is great for video calls and streaming (in a pinch/on the move). The single-zone, white backlit chiclet keyboard is very nice and would be extremely comfortable to type up a report or two and works great for keyboard & mouse gaming. It has dedicated volume keys, three “M” custom buttons, and a good-sized trackpad. Overall, I would definitely recommend this laptop for someone who’s looking for a solid gaming laptop that is stealthy enough to fly under the radar in a boardroom, spend all day in class and around campus, then just as easily settle in for watching a movie or an extended gaming session. With how well this machine cools its RTX 5060 and just how quiet the cooling system is, this makes a perfect multitool laptop for working hard and playing hard!

Dell is pitching an entry-level Alienware to bring more gamers into the fold, and I'm all for it! Not everyone needs, nor can afford some of the powerful gaming laptops out there. Dell's new Alienware 15 makes some smart, and some clearly cost-saving choices, to bring more gaming to the masses. Overview and Specs =================================== As an Alienware fan for over a decade with multiple units owned from as early as 2009, this new Alienware 15 still has that modern design language Alienware fans want. Not much in the box, but you do get a nice cloth sleeve and Alienware decal along with the large power supply and laptop. Specs-wise, you get a 15.3" 1920x1200, 16:10 LCD, an AMD Ryzen 260, 32 GB RAM(!), Nvidia RTX 5060, and a 1 TB SSD. Not bad at all. Design and Architecture =================================== While certainly not as flashy as some of their most powerful models, the Alienware 15 still looks like part of the family with the prominent Alienware logo and smoothly designed vents on the rear and underside. It's all plastic but it's not a cheap thin plastic like bargain laptops of the past. This stiffer polycarbonate feels sturdy and keeps the weight down. It's a powerful gaming laptop that's just under 5 lbs. Opening the lid, you'll be greeted by a nice backlit keyboard (white only, not RGB) that includes a number pad. Some folks like their 15" laptops with a large keyboard deck and no num pad, so your mileage may vary. The trackpad is decent with a bit of a hollow feel, but for gaming, you know you'll be using a mouse. Interestingly, the keyboard deck isn't festooned with stickers which is a nice plus. Besides the usual nubs at the "F" and "J" key for home row finger placement, there's a small, raised vertical nub on the "S" key, so you can feel the proper WASD placement without looking. I hadn't noticed that on other gaming keyboards before. On the left side, you'll see power an RJ-45 jack with folding cover (nice!), HDMI, 2x USB-A 3.2 gen 1 and a USB-C 3.2 gen 2 port. The right side has a USB-C 3.2 gen 1 port and a combo headset jack. The display is good enough. It's not something you'll want to use for color-accurate video or graphic work, but for playing games, 1920x1200 @ 165hz + the RTX 5060 is juuuust right. It's a great pairing that lets you push modern AAA games further than if you had a higher resolution panel. This is also an upgradable laptop which is not a given these days with soldered RAM and single SSD slots. There are two DDR5 RAM slots which means upgrades will be easy when RAM prices come down eventually. Where did Dell/Alienware do a bit of cost savings? Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and a 720p webcam are some components that may seem like they came from the leftover bin, but they're certainly functional enough. Performance =================================== With an AMD Ryzen 260 paired with an Nvidia RTX 5060, you'd expect some good performance and the Alienware 15 delivers. A higher resolution display would have demanded a more powerful GPU For AAA gaming at 100+ fps, but this 1920x1200 panel is a good fit for the RTX 5060. Of course, classic ARPGs like Grim Dawn and Diablo 3 are no problem. Even demanding games like Cyberpunk 2077 (I vividly remember this bringing an old Alienware 3070 to its knees) run over 60 fps at native resolution. Any additional optimization or tuning via graphics settings, DLSS, etc., can start to really take advantage of the fast display depending on the game. For example, Fortnite (and other first person shooters) can really take advantage of the panel's fast refresh rate, easily running above 100 fps, if not 120-140 fps on high/medium settings. All of this power requires cooling and the Alienware 15 has been engineered for this! The 50x0 series GPU models (like this one) get the Cryo-Chamber cooling which helps keep your CPU and GPU cool under pressure. Yes, there's still fan noise. Quite a bit actually, but that's the price of a pretty powerful setup. Use headphones and perhaps a riser/stand to keep your Alienware cool. Summary ==================================== Gaming has become an expensive hobby thanks the increased RAM and GPU prices, so I think Alienware has done a great job making not just an affordable gaming laptop, but an affordable, powerful gaming laptop. This laptop is no slouch and some of the shortcomings can be totally addressed by connecting an external monitor, a gaming mouse, and a webcam. The upgradability also helps future-proof this investment.

I have had the pleasure of using this Alienware 15 laptop over the past few days and overall, I am very impressed with the performance when it comes to my everyday tasks, such as handling office products and teams meetings, and also with my gaming sessions of playing some Call of Duty Black Ops 7. The Nvidia RTX 5060 did pretty well but struggled a bit when I set everything to Ultra settings. I would classify this overall as a mid-tier gaming rig, but high-end work performer laptop. Battery life is pretty good as well for a laptop such as this and it may not last you all day, but it will get you through most of it with ease. Also you have a good number of USB ports (two A and two C), a HDMI, Ethernet, and a 3.5mm headphone jack as well. Design and Build: The laptop is built entirely of plastic, featuring a flat black finish that attracts fingerprints, but is easily wiped down with a microfiber cloth. It is sturdy and has a low-key design for a gaming laptop, so it won’t stick out too badly at the office meetings. Portability: It is relatively portable, weighing approximately 5 lb on its own and if you bring along the 180W power brick, that figure jumps to about 6 lbs. You do have the option to charge via USB Type C, so if you have a 100W brick that supplies that, you can have a smaller travel option, just don’t expect to play high end games with that lower power option. Keyboard & Input: Features a single-zone white backlit keyboard with 1.3 mm of travel. The keys are a bit cramped due to the inclusion of the 10 keys on the side, but I really like keyboards that include those, so I don’t mind the lesser space for the keys. The backlit keyboard has three levels of intensity, and you can customize the lights using the Alienware Command software that enables the AlienFX lighting for control over that. Specs: This laptop has the AMD Ryzen 200 Series R7 2060 with 32GB of DDR5 RAM and a Nvidia RTX 5060 GPU with 8GB of dedicated video RAM. This is a good pairing for power, performance, and price in my opinion, a good bang for your buck if you will. Upgradability: The laptop features only one *M.2* storage slot and comes with a single stick of 32GB RAM, adding additional storage can be done, but it’s not the easiest route. If it had a second M.2 slot, then I think that would have been much better. Screen: The 15.3-inch 165Hz panel looks good to me, but it does have mediocre brightness (300 nits), so using this outside is not the best ideal if you are out in direct sunlight. Indoors, its perfectly fine though and I had zero issues with that. The 16:10 1920x1200 display is a great ratio for laptops as it provides more vertical space. Overall: The Alienware 15 laptop offers decent battery life, quiet fans, good cooling, and while this won’t replace my current gaming PC, it is a great option to play games on the road. I also would have liked to see a second M.2 slot for more storage space and a SD/MicroSD card reader, but this is a lower priced Alienware device and it is a good option to join that club if you wish and I think its great for them to offer this option now.

To begin with this is my very first Dell Alienware type of pc or laptop ever except for they're monitor's which I like more than any monitor I have owned but this is about the laptop I now have in my hands which is the Dell Alienware - 15.3" 2K Gaming Laptop - AMD Ryzen 200 Series R7 260 2026 - 32GB Memory - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 8GB - 1TB Storage. Firstly I'm very impress with how fast I got in my hot big hands and yest my hands are big. I was in all actual fact expecting it to be a month or so down the road due to the things going on especially with the wildfires going on near by. I'm somewhat impressed with how it was packed and shipped the box it was shipped in was poorly packed with very little stuffing to protect the box the laptop came in as when the driver delivering it handed it to me after singing for it I could feel it shifting along with hearing it thump inside the box it was in thankfully there was no damage to the outer box or to the box the laptop was in. I was in fact amazed to how the laptop was packed in the box it was in it was in fact very well protected in it so that's a major plus in my books for Dell the attached pictures ill show that. As for the laptop I'm very impressed with how easy it is to setup due to the following, it picked up my network fast when I was trying to bring it up so I could put in my network password to download the drivers needed, it even went quickly to doing the OS setup before letting me do the driver updates which I have done way before the OS on any of my PC's including the ones I have built myself. Once the OS finished setting up it went to putting in the drivers needed from Dell and what got me was that most of it went real smoothly (meaning I didn't have to do much except for getting the BIOS done even though it was at first done automatically I always go to the manufacturers website to see if there is a newer version of it which there was and downloading it along with the flash putting it in was so easy to do I didn't have to put it on a flash drive to do it . Once the setup up was done I installed one of my go to games and a browser to check things out as for browsing it's fast on the download of the browser and installing. It's fast with browsing which it a major factor for me when I'm looking up things. As for the downloading of the go to game I thing we all know how slow a large game can be at times my go to game is Diablo 4 which I use to try out new PC's and laptops which is around 75 gig for base game and 137–143 GB if you include the high-resolution texture assets. The latter is what I downloaded and installed on this laptop and it took at the most 5 to 10 mins via WiFi with was fast to me compared to being hardwired like my PC which takes around 15 to 20 mins which is still pretty fast lol. The install was quick and the game plays really smooth at max settings. After all of the good things and the bad things I have heard and read about Alienware for laptops and PC's I'm more impressed with everything I've seen in my own personal experience of now owning one the pros I have been talking about already the only con's that I have seen with this particular laptop is the fact the keyboard RBG goes to sleep to quick when idle and there is no setting in the OS or the Alienware software to stop it from doing so at least from what I can find or see then the only other con is this the Alienware Icon on the back of the laptop or the lid of it has no RBG what so ever which is a small disappointment but it is what it is. With all i have said even with the two con's I give this laptop the five stars and would give it more if I could but hey it's BestBuy's website not mine but all in all I will say this to anyone who wanted to get a Dell Alienware laptop its a 100000% get it (please forgive me on how my desk looks in some of the pictures)

Alienware makes excellent gaming rigs this laptop is no exception. All the good staff first.. It can handle any games flawless with the 8 GB GPU , the 32 GB RAM the Ryzen 7 260 processor. The dedicated Radeon Graphics card with 512 MB has shown no lag while playing my favorite FSP games. Surprisingly, the cooling fans are not as loud as thought they would be considering the loaded specs this laptop comes with. Another surprise I got is the small speaker it comes with are really loud without distorted sound at high volumes. The souround sound feels, really inmersive which I wasn't expecting. Another good thing with me tuning is the load up speed which short so not much waiting. The included Alienware app is very helpful with updates for the laptop tho it takes a bit too long for my liking. Now for the less attractive characteristics... This, is really heavy so it is not for taking long trips and it's a bit bulkier the regular laptops. The other thing I do not like is the short battery life, just a few minutes pass the 2 hour mark. The neutral items worth mentioning is the screen is nothing out of the ordinary with the no glare feature. The keyboard is lighted but not bright enough or colorful like other gaming laptops I have owned. All Thu gs considered good gaming laptop to stay at home.

I bought the laptop for 1,512 dollars and I am super satisfied and happy with my product. The pc doesnt really overheat too bad, but it gets a bit loud sometimes. I ran the new Assassins Creed Black Flag on max settings no problem. The only thing to keep in mind is the graphics card only has 8GB of memory storage, so some higher-end games might not be able to run to the max. Im super happy with the purchase because it was a big upgrade and I got a good deal on an alienware laptop.

Bought this laptop for my daughter, who is a Computer Game Graphics and Design Major as an upgrade from her old laptop. The 32gb and 1tb runs all her software demands super quick and there's no lag in the graphics. Heat dissipates from the top of the keyboard as well as the bottom keeping the laptop cool and the fans are quiet.

So far so good. I’ve only had about a week. And have not used all the features yet. But, for what I have been able to use this new pc for, it has performed very well. I just wish that these new computers still comes with built in optical drivers and slots for micro SD cards. Makes it very inconvenient to being forced to purchase an external optical drive and carry an extra computer component when traveling. Also, having the micro SD slots built into the laptop makes it easier to transfer photos and/or videos from a digital camera and drone devices. Other than that, this laptop has been working like a champ

Alien-ware Laptop runs great but little loud when playing games like Minecraft and GTA5. The speed of the laptop is great. Screen is lacking along with the plastic shell that heats up and smells a bit. I running this laptop on a 50Inch TV with keyboard and mouse and works real well. No problems yet. I never recommend any products. Only thing holding this Laptop back is the plastic chassis and the screen. For a Alien-ware laptop I expected premium packaging for spending so much.

I use this laptop for school as an architecture major but also for gaming when at home. Its runs very smooth and ive had no issue with updates, downloading software for school or games. i also really love how you can personalize every detail of the screen display. I will say delivery was a hassle since you have to sign with fedex and they are very difficult when it comes to delivery, so i recommend pick up.
