To start off I’ve been a fan since I’ve gotten my first Alienware PC R16. Trade the previous versions for these since the pads wore off on my previous headset. I’ve been testing various headsets since I’ve had my Xbox and can honestly say the volume and bass are amazing. Ended up returning the steel series high end set for these. Comfort, lightweight and straight forward. Has never disconnected or had faulty audio noises. I believe issue are part of not having the right audio program set on your Pc. I use the free version of Sonar and can tweak the setting for perfect Cod audio and amazing booms for Helldivers. Can’t recommend a better priced, comfortable and great sounding headset.

The Alienware headphones took me a minute to learn to setup in settings but most of the time I just use the wire instead of wireless sounds clear when I play games only issue I would have is connecting it other then that it’s a good headset

I'll start off by saying that I am a fan on Alienware and their products. My laptops, monitors, keyboards, mouse, etc. are all Alienware brand. I currently have an Alienware headset, AW510H, and thought it was time to refresh my headset. I actually bought this headset twice, returned it the first time because after reading online reviews I thought that due to user error (me), I didn't properly configure the headset to maximize its potential for my use. Unfortunately, I was wrong for buying the second time and right for returning the first time (facepalm). From an audio perspective, even after using Dobly Atmos to setup this AW725H, my AW510H was producing superior audio output. For reference, I've attached screenshots of my various outputs my pc recognized that the headsets were capable of. As you can see, per what my pc recognized, the AW510H was able to produce Studio quality output whereas the AW725H was only able to produce DVD quality output. Additionally, the AW725H was producing sound that seemed very low/muffled compared to the AW510H at the same audio level. I'm not a pro audio guy, so I'm simply using what my Alienware laptop is telling. I found this very odd and disappointing. While I could simply jack up the volume of the headset, the deal breaker for me was its lack of compatibility with my Xbox Series X. The only way I could use it with my Xbox was via the 3.5mm audio jack on the controller (cannot be connected wirelessly). However when using this headset in this manner, it deactivates the headset's volume and mic control buttons. To manage the sound, it has to be done via the Xbox audio setup directly, cannot be done on the fly (same for the mic). My AW510H doesn't have those limitations, the inline controls still function. I found this to be VERY disappointing. I really wanted to like (and keep) this headset but the limitations I ran into while trying to use it didn't justify the purchase so I returned it (again).
