I have had this laptop for about a week and I've enjoyed using it. It has very good graphics. When I've had time to play a game, it's been responsive with no delays. it is very smooth when multitasking. I enjoy adjusting the color of the keyboard and back lighting. The only downfall is the weight. It's bulky but it is worth it for me. It has a big price tag, in my case I didn't mind.

W specs. W thermals. Just a big dub overall. I played wow and ow all night and it didn’t over heat. This is a good gaming laptop if you travel a lot, and want pc feels.

Received the laptop quickly only to find out the power supply has a chinese plug, not a US plug. Was notified I am expeceted to purchase a new power supply or inverter.

Two strikes with back-to-back defective devices. First was a terrible bug with the touchpad, and the replacement has a serious issue with the wireless network card even after a reset. It is rare for me to say this, but avoid this one at all costs!
I recently purchased the Alienware x16 R2 from Best Buy, and after spending some time using it for both gaming and studying, I can confidently say it’s one of the best laptops I’ve owned. Performance: Powered by an Intel Ultra 9 processor and 32GB of high-speed RAM, this laptop handles everything I throw at it with ease. Whether I’m multitasking between study apps and browser tabs or running demanding games, the system stays smooth and responsive. The 1TB SSD provides plenty of fast storage for games, software, and files, with quick boot times and load speeds. Display: The 16" 240Hz display is absolutely stunning. It delivers crisp visuals and ultra-smooth motion, which is perfect for fast-paced games. The high refresh rate really enhances the gaming experience. Design and Usability: The build quality is top-notch, as expected from Alienware. It feels premium and durable, yet sleek. Despite being a powerful machine, it’s user-friendly and easy to navigate, making it great for both serious gaming and productivity tasks. Verdict: Overall, the Alienware x16 R2 is a powerful and versatile machine. It’s perfect for gamers and students alike who need top-tier performance in a stylish package. If you're looking for speed, reliability, and premium features, this laptop is definitely worth considering.

Bought this laptop for a couple months. The performance is very good and I can run a lot of games on it. The heating gets quite intense when gaming so make sure you have a good cooling pad.

I’ve been using the Alienware x16 and it’s honestly a really solid gaming laptop. It runs heavy games smoothly with no major issues, the screen looks great, and everything feels fast and responsive. It does get warm when gaming, but that’s expected and manageable. Overall, I’m very happy with the performance and would definitely recommend it.

I've used a lot of Alienware devices over the past decade and this is by far one of the best. This new design shares similarities with the XPS, which is also a solid platform. It's very much like the best of both platforms were merged into one. Performance, quality, and usability are great. Very happy with this.

This laptop is an absolute powerhouse. The Intel Core Ultra 9 and 32GB of RAM make it a "desktop replacement" for me. I use it for both heavy gaming and video editing, and it hasn't stuttered once. The main reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is the price-to-performance ratio. For this price, I wish it came with an RTX 4080, but you are clearly paying for the "X-series" thinness and the premium materials. Also, the fans can get pretty loud when you're in "Overdrive" mode, but that's expected for a laptop this thin. If you want a laptop that looks professional but can play any game at night, this is a great choice.

Unbelievable on the value here, great spec for my engineering cad software, works great and good and lightweight. Powerful to say the least.

We just had to replace a Razer Stealth 15, and this Alienware fit the bill! With good RAM standard and the sturdiness of Alienware build quality, it seems to be holding up to lugging to school well. Bought an Alienware M16 for my other son and had to add more RAM to get it to run as smoothly as we’d like on larger games. But overall very satisfied!

I use this primarily as a AAA gaming machine. It can jandle high and even some games at ultra settings with ease. Amazing cooling system, but I do recommend a cooling fan for extended sessions. Only disappointing part is the display. At this price point I would expect oled and higher brightness.

the laptop is good but the trackpad is not illuminated, hoped that bestbuy had 4080 and 4090 version of this laptop
