About this product
A bartender, a personal trainer, a graphic designer, and an immigration attorney walk into a practice space... ALPHA HOPPER will their new LP, InchAlpha Hex IndexInch on November 6th, 2020 through Hex Records. Alpha Hopper has previously released two other LPs through Radical Empathy, One Percent Press, and guitarist John Toohill's own Swimming Faith imprint. Formed in Buffalo, New York in 2014, Alpha Hopper creates a frenetic stew of guitar-driven rock'n'roll with ingredients from punk, hardcore, noise rock, and no-wave. Their 3rd LP InchALPHA HEX INDEXInch shows them deeper than ever down their rabbit hole. Sassy, snotty vocals punctuating the ever growing wall of catchy, bizarre riffs and prison break drum beats. Dummy math, noise-rock for art-punk drop outs. For InchAlpha Hex IndexInch the band decided to record the effort themselves in their homes. Pandemic-related shelter in place recommendations caused some hiccups in being able to track the entire effort in a single block, and instead recording sessions were conducted in intervals when the members could safely get together and hash out their respective parts. Once they were satisfied with the mix they handed things over to engineer John Angelo (Gwar, Every Time I Die, Gas Chamber) to handle mastering duties. Drummer Douglas Scheider InchAlpha Hopper has always been a science fiction punk band. Not like test tubes and a thing growing in the basement sci-fi, but isolation in an endless expanse sci-fi, gradual concessions until you no longer recognize yourself sci-fi, a confrontation with a power in which you can't quite find humanity sci-fi. You can hear that in Irene's lyrics, but there's also something about the way we write music that ends up feeling like we're a tiny crew far adrift in a suspiciously life-sustaining vessel. Yet the more we work on a part together, the weirder and more undeniably Hopper it

![Schwartz - Gerdin Manuscript - COMPACT DISCS [CD]](https://pisces.bbystatic.com/image2/BestBuy_US/images/products/12979bf5-9c07-4d55-a501-7398e03aa9dc.jpg;maxHeight=422;maxWidth=264?format=webp)
A French title, Italian repertoire, a Swedish manuscript... The manuscript of a certain InchGeorg GerdinInch provides insight into the ramified travel routes of good music in the 18th century. Nothing is known about Mr. Gerdin himself, only that he signed his manuscript InchA Upsale le 8 d'Aout 1758Inch. In his manuscript, Gerdin compiled four sonatas by Pietro Castrucci and two by the now largely forgotten Francesco Geminiani, probably drawing on an edition printed almost fifty years earlier in Amsterdam and London, which had adapted the sonatas originally conceived for violin for the recorder. The recorder player Tabea Schwartz presents these exciting and extremely virtuosic sonatas of the highest quality in a Swedish InchreadingInch. Her congenial accompanist, the harpsichordist Thomas Leininger, combines them with short miniatures on well-known English melodies from a collection published in Sweden around 1770 by an unknown composer named Frederick Nussen.
The masterful 1998 landmark album that redefined Gothic Doom into Atmospheric Rock. Experience Anathema's emotional apex on exclusive limited edition clear vinyl Released in 1998, 'Alternative 4', Anathema's fourth studio album, quickly became the band's best-selling and most highly regarded to date. Containing evocative atmospheric passages and emotional Rock anthems, Alternative 4 represented a giant progression from the band's previous work and hinted at the massive changes to come. Displaying a more mature sound than the band's earlier recordings, this is the album that gave birth to the more conceptual approach, that the band took further on such albums as a 'A Fine Day To Exit' and 'A Natural Disaster'. Duncan Patterson was a major writing contributor to the album. This was the last album to feature the bassist (who went on to form Antimatter & then band Alternative 4).
