These Status Series speakers make a great addition to any high-powered system, thanks to power-handling up to 100W RMS, but you can unlock their potential by pairing them with Status System components, which Alpine designed with high-resolution audio in mind. Alpine uses a carbon composite cone for consistency across the speaker's ultra-wide frequency range, plus a special double gathered-edge surround, which helps minimze distortion and promote accuracy. IF you're upgrading a factory 3-way component system, Alpine optimizes fit to minimize the need for custom work. Their slim-fit 1" tweeter makes it easier to utilize the factory tweeter locations of more vehicles.
