I bought the Fire TV Remote for one of the Fire Sticks in the house, and let me tell you, it's a definite lifesaver. It set up incredibly quick, its response time to button pushes is unbelievable, and the features (especially the backlit buttons) are remarkable. It definitely took all of the guess work out of the Fire TV experience.

Chances are that some or all of these features might be Region specific. Check your region before buying. The 3 features that sold me on this remote are: 1. In-app Remote Finder - It was used to find the remote in the couch. There are no Settings to change for this feature. When pressed ALL of the buttons on the remote flash. That's awesome. 2. Bluetooth Headphone Button - When you press it, it shows up on any screen. It's a good feature if you have to use headphones after you start watching something, so you don't have to get out of the app & go to Settings. 3. Automatic Light-up Buttons - When in dim lightning, the buttons light-up automatically. I tested it out. I shook the remote in a dark hallway & it lit up. In a lighted bathroom, I shook the remote again it did not light up. The 1 head-sctatching feature that doesn't make sense is: The DirectTV Shortcut Button - It should be for an app that most people would use, like YouTube.

The keypad has become quite cluttered. They should have moved the volume/mute to the side. That way you're not guessing where it is or eyeballing all those buttons to see it. Mute button is slightly concave, but not enough that my calloused thumb can discern the difference. The back light works well. We haven't tried the locate or headphone options. I'd recommend waiting for a sale because retail price seems a bit much for what you're getting. One mind bender is that the volume control on the remote it is replacing is to the Center of the volume control and on this remote it buried on the Left. So some reflex retraining is definitely required. Is it too much to ask for some consistency ? I kind of wish they'd do away with the pre-programmed jump buttons altogether or make ALL of them programmable. They don't match our subscriptions or anyone else's. Haha (no emojis allowed).

This remote has done the job and met expectations. It replaced the last one we had. It’s pretty small so it can get lost in between things, but durable and functional. The buttons light up in the dark as well.

Best remote of any tv I have ever used! It is so easy to use and battery life lasts forever! Not to mention I can just tell the remote what I want to watch AND see in the dark what buttons I am hitting on movie nights! Definitely recommend!

The motion-activated backlit buttons are a total game-changer for movie night. I no longer have to fumble around or turn on a lamp just to pause my show. The lights are bright enough to see clearly but not distracting. Plus, the remote finder feature has already saved me twice! It feels much more premium than the standard remote.

Great and easy to use, no programming needed on my fire tv

Had to get this for the “Find my remote “ option because family and pets always misplacing it. I was able to add to 3rd gen cube without issues and now we have this remote and original that can both control the cube.

What I like most about the remote is that it lights up when you use it making it easier to see, it's convenient because you can use Alexa for easier finds, and overall just a good replacement remote.

Fire stick remote quit working, replaced the batteries still no luck, bought this new one from Best Buy works great now.

The best! I was using my cellphone as a remote because my smart tv remote that came with the tv broke (my son spilled milk on it) This remote works awesome and was so easy to set up with my smart tv!!! If you need a remote for your smart tv definitely get this one!!!!

This Amazon TV remote is a perfect replacement! It paired effortlessly with my Fire TV, and the setup took just seconds. The buttons are highly responsive, and the remote feels solid and well-made. The fire tv remote pro, is the only remote I need for my fire tv. The best function or skill this remote has is the ability to play a sound. All you have to do, is tell Alexa to find your remote. You’ll hear a beeping sound playing, coming from your remote. So no more misplacing the tv remote, or the kids taking the remote with them and not remembering where it is. I am telling people, this remote is the best. The only thing would be that, I hope it would allow you to use it for several fire tvs. I do not know if it does, have not tried it, but I do not think you can do that. Also, a cheaper price would be nice too.

I absolutely love this remote. If my kids misplace it, Alexa saves me time by finding it. The light up buttons come in handy. I will be upgrading all of my remotes.

Inlove this remote for my fire tv cube. Somehow Inlost the remote that came with the unit and I really donmot care. The backlit display and the find my remote feature makes this remote the best.

I like the size and feel of it. Also the light up feature. And the voice control is nice. What I don't like is the fact that the four set buttons are not reprogram to able. Do not use the Direct tv or Peacock. Should have been either Hulu, Disney or YouTubeTv. Other than that I like it a lot.
