Love the bigger screen size. The processor makes resposne times much more quick. The overall footprint of the device is bigger but nothing my hands can’t handle. Thought I would get a different case from the green one that was included with the Kids edition after purchase but it’s grown on me (a 22 year old man). I’m coming from the 2018 model but I do think it’s well worth it considering the warm light and bigger screen. As someone who didn’t enjoy the ergonomics of the Oasis, this one is perfect.

Learning curve to figure it out. I’m still trying to figure it out. However, I like the matte paper white. I feel like I could read on this better than my phone. My son loves it and especially audible option to listen to stories. We like as parents how it’s NOT games/watching tv on our car rides. Less backseat fights with siblings. Works with wireless headphones.

Replaced my previous 2018 paperwhite which I bought just last July 2021. This ones: 1. Significantly faster 2. Bigger screen, pretty similar to a paperback book size now 3. Has warm light for late night reads! 4. Did I say it is significantly faster? Also the kids version is a pretty good value with the case, 2yr warranty and kindle kids included. You're not locked to the kids mode as well, you can exit anytime and read all your adult novels whenever you want.

You better believe I jumped on this deal. Same as the standard 8GB version with absolutely NO ADS at a low low $120. The reading experience is quicker on this than my 2018 paperwhite. My last one got noticeably laggy. I am loving it so far. The warm light is comforting to use. Don't know if it does anything but it is the little things that count.

I purchased the kindle during a sale. Therefore, I paid less than the original listing price. Great reading device. The operation is smooth and snappy. No distractions and the battery lasts forever. I really like that when I do need to charge it, I have a USB-C cord handy. I do not have to have a specialty cable.

Since this is the same technical specs as the regular Paperwhite, but cheaper, I bought it as an update from my wife's older model Kindle. So far it has been great. She loves the backlight and that it weighs less. It did take a bit of time for her to adjust to the sensitivity of the newer version. Overall, a good buy!

As an adult, I bought this for myself. The sale price and added warranty coverage and terms were objective reasons to buy this particular model, and I figured the included children's cover would help avoid confusion with everyone else's kindle. It takes a few minutes to remove the children's pre-configuration, but after that it works exactly like an "adult" model with no ads.

Upgraded from my 6-year old Kindle Paperwhite. This thing is much faster, and the screen is bigger and sharper. Not to mention the included cover. It's a great buy for me!

I'm a newbie to electronic reading but I have enjoyed this Kindle Paperwhite Kids so far. I had the choice of covers but I got the Emerald Forest one and I really like it (more than boring black). I wish I could find a guide for the Kids version--especially to convert to adult reading, but I'm catching up on many books I wished I had read when I was a kid but was too busy. ; ) Of course I won't renew the Kids subscription so maybe will transition then.

Nice upgrade from an older kindle and arguably the best small e-reader. The display is easy on the eyes and a kindle is the best when you just want distraction free reading The kids version is also ad free so and have double the warranty so it's like getting the cover for free.

Love it, I’m always reading in the dark. Text is very clear and it’s so convenient having my whole library in the palm of my hand!

Best kindle reader without side buttons, Really love the softer eye soothing yellow adjustable tinge. Much better for night reading. And the larger size is terrific for my eyes. The kids version easily converts to adult material and mine was on sale at Christmas time!

Wonderful for reading! This is really a great product for reading if you are fine with reading on screens. Not good for academic papers which usually are in pdf format with many charts. But for everyday reading, it does a wonderful job.

I'm an adult, but I bought this one based on its extended warranty period and the fact that it comes with a cover that no family member or friend will confuse for their own. It's a winner!

There is no difference in the hardware in the Kindle Paperwhite Kids versus the “regular” Kindle Paperwhite. You do not have to use the Kids+ subscription.

I love my kindle paperwhite. I didn’t think I would like it as much as I do, I wish I would have bought one sooner.

Great kindle, functions as a normal paperwhite, but it has no ads and comes with a nice cover. Currently using it as my main kindle.
