Love it! And super fast shipping. Ordered on a Sunday night. Had it shipped and it said it would arrive the following Saturday. It ended up arriving two days later! I looked at the color soft option as well but found this to be more than enough for note taking, drawing, and obviously reading. The pen and screen are very responsive. I haven’t put a screen protector on mine but the screen seems durable enough I shouldn’t need one. I bought a budget case from Amazon with a kick stand, highly recommend getting a case with a kickstand! I also love the size of this one. The regular kindle felt too small for me, this one is more on par with an iPad size. Makes reading very easy! I love the feature that switches hand written notes to typeface, I prefer hand writing notes and this has been a game changer for my marketing business. I have larger hands and fingers and wear glasses so a large screen and larger device works best for me. Page turns are very responsive and the speed for downloading is great! I’ve only charged it once when I received it. I’ve had it for about 2-3 weeks now and haven’t needed to charge again. I use it for hours daily. Everyone who’s tried my Scribe loves it. I went with the Tungsten color but the jade green is also gorgeous.

I love my kindle scribe.!- The only downfall is that I don’t like that I can’t just annotate and write wherever I feel like when I’m reading. I’m not fond of how a box has to be placed around every time I do my own note taking. It’s just a preference that I don’t like. I was slightly disappointed that after I bought the scribe that the color scribe was released a few days later. I do believe the prices are absurd, they cost more than a small flatscreen TV. But other than that I find it much easier for me to read than with a book sometimes, and I am very happy with my product.

The shipping and packaging were atrocious, when I got it it was held together by massive amounts of packing tape and loose scraps of cardboard. Not to mention that they didn't even leave it at my front door they left it down the street. If I hadn't of been watching it before it arrived I would have lost my Kindle for sure. But the device itself is phenomenal and it's basically going to replace all of my notebooks and book books. If you're brand new to Kindle there is a learning curve but nothing that watching a couple videos wont solve.

This is an excellent device in my opinion for school and personal use. I enjoy writing my notes and scribbling pictures. The screen is a wonderful like any other kindle, it transitions smoothly the e-pen feels great in the hand and the highlight button and eraser make edits a breeze. I would highly suggest this to any College Student, or parent of a student looking to get rid of distractions. No games or thrills you are forced to pay attention and do your work, and if you want to read well your Amazon library is right there. The size is a wonderful balance for holding laying on a table, the build is excellent, and the speed of transitions are much faster I will say on my old Paperwhite which is also an excellent device. Get the pro pen not the basic one. Oh and battery life is fantastic I have been using mine all day and it's only at 80 percent.

I recently purchased the Kindle Scribe (16GB, 2024 version) and have been very impressed with how well it combines reading and note-taking in one device. The screen is large and comfortable to read for long periods, and writing on it feels very natural—almost like paper. I especially like using it for brainstorming ideas, marking up documents, and keeping daily notes without carrying multiple notebooks. The battery life is excellent and lasts much longer than a tablet. The distraction-free environment also helps me stay focused compared to using an iPad. If you read frequently or like handwriting notes, this device is a great upgrade from a standard Kindle. I would definitely recommend it.

Great for reading however cannot hold it too long because it is big and bulky. The button on the pencil is hard not to press repeatedly while writing which turns your writing to highlighter. Also, can only write about 3/4 down the page before your palm makes the page turn over and over again. It was more frustration than useful. I had high hopes but it did not work out for me.

I purchased it as a Christmas gift for my husband, so i have not used it yet. However, upon opening the box to peek at it,Im impressed with its ligh weight, color, and sleekness! Cant wait to give it to my husband, he's going to LOVE it!

I have eye issues. My left eye, as a result of three detached retina surgeries is filled with a silicone oil. I have always been an avid reader but have not been able to do so for a while now. This Kindle is PERFECT for me. Because of the variable settings I am now able to read books again. THANK YOU!!!

Not a big improvement over the first generation, because the first generation was a already really great. The minor improvements added are worth it. This includes the AI features. Like many, I thought my many Android tablets or iPad mini would be a substitute for notebook writing, but none, close to the feeling ebook tablet gives you. Between the pen and paper-like screen texture, it definitely feels much better to write on than any flat glass tablet.
