I love my kindle scribe colorsoft. Yes it’s a little pricey compared to say a tablet but I have zero distractions. I know others don’t like the Amazon platform but I’m content with kindle and I have been able to read so many books. Studying and preparing for my sermons is great, when I travel I have multiple books with me, and the note taking is perfect me. It has its flaws but for me it exceeds my needs. I wish you could copy from a book paste into a notebook, that would be my only desire. I do believe that if price is your concern go with black and white model, the colorsoft while great is not for everyone. I had some certificates and decided the additional $100 was worth the upgrade for me. All in all this is a great product and I am happy I made my purchase.

This is my third Kindle, and the Kindle Scribe is by far my favorite. The larger screen makes reading so much more enjoyable, and the writing feature feels smooth and natural. I love being able to read, take notes, and keep everything in one place without distractions. The display is crisp, battery life is excellent, and it feels premium without being complicated to use. If you enjoy reading and like the idea of handwriting notes or journaling, the Kindle Scribe is absolutely worth it. Easily my best Kindle yet!

Sturdy but a little bit heavy to hold with one hand. Easier to grip in a case. Sometimes vert sensitive when holding on sides. Could change page/pages when you don't mean to. Still learning new features. Would like a way to access last notebook used without having to navigate through several folders to get to it. Love that I can write on the book directly but wish I could choose where it goes. Box that it is put into can only go down so much. Can't make it as small as I would like. Wish I could make a notebook go into landscape. Can only put PDF's in landscape. Hopefully in future updates they will change things.

I really hoped that this device could be my one device for both reading and note-taking. But even though the screen is great and colors look better than any other e-ink I’ve seen, the writing experience is awful (it’s even worse than Scribe 2024). The screen surface is much less like paper and much more like glass, so writing on it is similar to any other tablet like an iPad or something.

I have used this every day since buying it. It is light and easy to take anywhere, great organization features, and has all I need for both personal and work goals.
