Andrea Centazzo Ensemble - The Retrospective - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

(2-CD set) An amazing collection of solo percussion performances recorded live in concert during two decades (1970s-1980s), around the world from Woodstock, to Berlin, Stuttgart, Milan, and Los Angeles. Some of the tracks come from the first solo Centazzo LP, InchFragmentosInch, released in 1974, and are dedicated to Pablo Neruda's poetry. Housed in a DVD style case.

(4-CD set) the '70s in Italy (and Europe, in general) were times of extreme political tension charged with subversion, terrorism and bombings. In this climate of heightened emotions, fear and hope there came about an era of music of the left, dominated by the avant-garde which was associated with the cultural revolution taking place. Housed in a DVD style case.

This triple album was recorded in July 2022 in a Festival celebrating the 45th anniversary of ICTUS Records. The top US and Eu 18 improvisers were on fire for 4 days in several combinations.
