Andrea Centazzo Voyages - Andrea Centazzo Voyagers - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

Andrea Centazzo - percussion, electronics, sequencers recorded live in concert at the Air Museum, Palm Springs, CA on January 27, 2007. After being inspired by contemporary artists and later by Far East culture, composer/percussionist/video artist Andrea Centazzo found in Leonardo Da Vinci a new muse for his multimedia concept. The music while retaining his contemporary flavor is widely open to all influences, namely sacred music. The show and music material is divided in 6 parts each inspired by a different aspect of Leonardo Da Vinci's genius. Album Tracks 1. Birth of the Genius 2. Anatomy of the Skull 3. Aqua Magic 4. Shadows of War 5. Symphony of Machines 6. Dreams of Flight

Cjant - First concert for small orchestra based upon friulian folk songs, are Centazzo's first orchestral compositions combining a string section along with the original Mitteleuropa (Free Jazz) Orchestra. The name for the ensemble came not only from the cultural background of it's members but also from middle-European mold of the music written for it. Housed in a DVD style case. Album Tracks 1. Cjant I Movement 2. Cjant II Movement 3. Cjant III Movement 4. Cjant IV Movement 5. Cjant V Movement 6. Cjant VI Movement 7. Cjant VII Movement

Sometime an old box of tapes, overlooked for decades, could reserve nice surprises. This album is a collection of those surprises. In the years of my collaboration with Steve Lacy, we did a lot of recording and we selected what was the best for the short length of the vinyl LPs. So some tracks were edited leaving part of the improvisations out or discarded for a similarity with something already included in the albums. Album Tracks 1. Scraps #1 2. Scraps #2 3. Scraps #3 4. Scraps #4 5. Scraps #5 6. Scraps #6 7. Scraps #7 8. Scraps #8 9. Scraps #9
