- Description: In his second album, The Perpetual Sounds of Motion, Andrew Rosborough combines the elements of jazz, R&B, acoustic rock and country/folk music to produce an original sound that has been compared to the likes of Cat Stevens, Rob Thomas and Steely Dan. Originally from the small factory town of Kokomo, Indiana, the 24-year-old singer/songwriter has music in his genes. His parents, both musicians as well, own the full-line retail music store InchSound of Music.Inch By the age of 14, Andrew had traveled the Midwest with his parents' various gospel projects. With a wide range of musical instruments at his disposal, Andrew has become an experienced musician on more than just guitar, also playing piano, bass, mandolin, trumpet and harmonica. Armed with a strong musical background, Andrew continued to branch out, leaving Indiana to study both music and English literature at the University of North Texas. He returned to the Midwest and continued his studies at Indiana University, where he was able to refine his eclectic style of songwriting. While at IU, Andrew crafted his debut , the self-titled EP, Andrew Rosborough. Shortly after college, Andrew moved to Nashville, where he explored the recording and songwriting industry that has defined generations of country music through and apprenticeship under the tutelage of Broken Bow Records/Legends Studio in the historic Berry Hill District. While residing Nashville, he frequently performed at the Gibson Theatre and the legendary Bluebird Café, in addition to scores of other songwriting venues. Following his stint in Nashville, Andrew moved to Hollywood, where he studied the crafts of songwriting and guitar with Justin Derrico (lead guitar player for InchThe CallingInch) at the Musician's Institute of Technology. Together with writing partner and co-producer Matt Burmeister, Andrew is currently producing his third album at Pogo St

Limited vinyl LP repressing in gatefold jacket. Off the Wall is the fifth solo studio album by Michael Jackson. It was released on August 10, 1979, following Jackson's critically well-received film performance in The Wiz. While working on that project, Jackson and Quincy Jones had become friends, and Jones agreed to work with Jackson on his next studio album. Recording sessions took place between December 1978 and June 1979 at Allen Zentz Recording, Westlake Recording Studios, and Cherokee Studios in Los Angeles, California. Jackson collaborated with a number of other writers and performers such as Paul McCartney, Stevie Wonder and Rod Temperton. Five singles were released from the album. It was released by Epic Records on November 30, 1982, as the follow-up to Jackson's critically and commercially successful 1979 album Off The Wall. Thriller explores similar genres to those of Off The Wall, including pop, post-disco, rock and funk. Recording sessions took place on April to November 1982 at Westlake Recording Studios in Los Angeles with a production budget of $750, 000, assisted by producer Quincy Jones. Seven singles were released from the album, all of which reached the Top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100. In just over a year, Thriller became-and currently remains-the best-selling album of all time, with estimated sales of 65 million copies worldwide. It has become the first album ever to be certified 32 times multi-platinum for U.S. sales, marking more than 32 million sales shipped.
