The case itself is fantastic! Goes well with my Animal Crossing Switch aesthetically, fits like a glove, & isn’t too bulky (although as such, it doesn’t offer as much protection). My one recommendation would be to invest in a better screen protector than the one they provide with this case, because it’s difficult to apply. I took all precautions: used steam to get rid of dust, washed my hands, cleaned w/ a microfiber cloth, etc. The screen protector itself has two back sheets to apply it (see photo): you take off the first one, press, then get the other side. IMO, it’s not very intuitive, and other screen protectors have an easier application w/ better quality glass. Mine left me with bubbles I couldn’t remove, but I just want it to be protected from dock scratches, so I don’t really mind. Overall, solid 5/5 for the case, recommend a different screen protector!

I love the Animal Crossing print! The case is soft but sturdy enough to protect against the contents of my bag. The center thing can prop up to hold the switch up. It also has a mesh pocket for my screen wipe, and has 5 slots for game cartridges.

Case looks very nice whether you're a fan of Animal Crossing or not. One side is white with green leaves while the other side is is green with blue-ish leaves that shimmer. Even the zipper pulls are analogous.

To be honest, I was doubtful on buying this case after reading some reviews about it, but after having it in my hands, I think this was such a great purchase! I read some negative reviews on how the quality of the case felt cheap or flimsy, but after buying it, I definitely think the case could protect my switch from a drop, there's even a small flap of fabric inside to cover the screen while it's packed. The material is not at all cheap, after all, its manufactured to protect the switch. Sure it's not as protective as the other cases out there, but I'm sure this will do the job! The case can even be "folded" into a stand, I find this incredibly useful when I'm playing games that are more comfortable with the pro-controller. My only complaint or problem with the case is that I thought I would be able to hold my joycon straps within the small pocket attatched to the case's flap. Sure they fit, but when I close the case, the case as a whole feels extremely tight, I decided in the end to not carry my straps in there since I felt that either the straps or my switch could be damaged if I ended up dropping the case due to the amount of pressure caused from the "over-packing." But overall, I was extremely surprised when I opened the box, since I didn't know the case were designed to have 2 different colors. More information about how the case looked would've been nice, but personally, I love that the case is double-colored. In my opinion, this case is my favorite I've purchased so far, it protects, while maintaining such a cute look! I applaud Nintendo for this one!

So I preordered this and l’ll be honest it wasn’t easy to obtain. My normal store messaged me this morning to say it’s out of stock and to check other stores. Bummer. I hop on the Best Buy App and switch it to a store that both 10 miles away AND in the city. And email pushes to me saying to wait till it’s confirmed available. So I wait. An hour later I get a text. Not the one I was hoping for as it says the item is out of stock Nd to log into my account for options. I log in and it actually says available for pickup. A call to Best Buy support confirms that if it says ‘available’ then I’m all set. After a 20 minute drive and a 3 minute wait for curbside pickup the Animal Crossing: New Horizons Switch Case is in my hands. After a 20 minute drive home the screen protector is on my Animal Crossing: New Horizons Switch console and it’s in the case, fitting perfectly. Now to wait a week for the game to drop (along with the cloth bag preorder bonus) and things will be very, very zen.
