My wife uses this on her nightstand. It does the job. It’s really meant for travel use because of the cable wrap capability. I wish the build quality was closer to Apple’s charger but for the price it’s not a bad deal.

I needed to replace an Apple watch charging cord. After looking at the price of the original cord I realized it cost the same if I purchased charging cradles. These Anker cradles work well, and are solidly constructed. They plug into USB-C so they charge faster. The base has built in storage for the charging cable. It works great with my wife's 40mm series 6 Apple watch. However, it's tricky to use with my series 5 44mm, as I have an armored watch band which adds additional thickness to the sides. The 40mm watch charges fine in the default upright position, but the 44mm with the armor requires the charging port to be tilted slightly so the watch can make good contact.

This charger is great for traveling. I like that it can charge your watch either sitting up or laying down,
