I was looking for something high quality, fast, and colorful; this did it! I noticed another review said it was lackluster in the colors, but I spent less than 5 minutes adjusting some of the values when I first got it (which you should always do) and it looks phenomenal. The remote is a little clunky but you never use it after the initial setup so I dont mind it. The adjustable height is a great feature along with the ability to rotate the screen without moving the base. Big fan. Buy this if you want a good monitor for gaming/editing without the cost of a g-sync product.

I got this monitor to be a significant upgrade from a 1080p monitor with a 60hz refresh rate. Out of the box the colors looked pretty bland and I had to make some adjustments. One of the gamer presets turned out to be pretty good. But based on recommendations I read online I also increased the gamma and tinkered with the blue light to reduce eye fatigue. The manual/instructions were sparse and I'm no expert on monitor cables. For a while I could only get about 60hz out of the monitor until I found the correct cable. Some of the features I wasn't planning to use I have come to appreciate. For example the simple holder for a set of headphones so they dangle off the side. As well as some of the USBs on the side of the monitor itself. One of them is a quick-charging USB for mobile devices and I've come to really appreciate having one of those. Because I have a Nvidia graphics card I really haven't been able to utilize the full FreeSync features. I'll have to look into an AMD card for my next GPU upgrade. But for me this monitor hit a sweet spot between capabilities and especially price point. It's got a nice array of features for the price, especially if you are looking for a 1440p monitor with a 144hz refresh rate.

Great build quality, but man the image just doesn't hold up. Even for a TN panel, the colors are really, really bad. They're flat and lifeless. The contrast is also pretty bad, with black looking more like a dark purple. At this price, the image quality just isn't acceptable. I wouldn't pay more than 250 for this, but even at that price, you can catch a sale and do much better.
