This charging adapter is good for providing FASTER charging and is a good substitute for the paltry 5W that comes with every iPhone. In fact, this is the second such adapter that I have purchased after giving the other one to my mom. Sure it won't be on par with the 11 Pro/Pro Max's stock charger but it's better than nothing for the 11 and older iPhones.

This Apple USB power adapter is compact for on the go. I have bought several for all my electrical needs because it works great and for its portability.

Love this charger for my iPhone, it’s super fast and I can also use it for other devices as well. My vehicle has an outlet on the back and doesn’t have usb or a cigarette lighter plug so it’s good for the rear passengers to charge their phones and I can use my other charger in the front of the car.

This is originally an adapter to charge an iPad but I was advised it would work on my iPhone and it’s the safest, quickest adapter I’ve ever had. I’m so happy I bought it!

I have stopped buying the smaller 5 watt Power adapter for my iPhone and begun using the larger one which is now a 12 watt. It appears that my phone charges faster, the adapter doesn't get warm, and it's just nice to be able to use the same AC adapter for my iPhone and my iPad and my iPad mini. By the way friend came over with an android and using the proper attachment she was also able to use my 12 Watt AC adapter. So it's useful for more than just the iPhone and the iPad you can also use it for an android .

This is a must for proper charging of apple products I have tried the less expensive after market ones, and they were very inadequate. This is a must for fast and proper charging, and very travel friendly; especially when space is a premium.

When traveling over the holidays I forgot to pack a USB power adapter to charge my iPad Air and iPhone. The Apple 12W USB power adapter is great because it is compact and easy to pack, charges quickly, and is reasonably priced.

The Apple® MD826LL/A 12W USB Power Adapter is a certified Apple® product which packs a whopping 12 Watts of power to power up your Apple® device in (A LOT) less time. The Apple® Power Adapter has a single USB charging port on the top to fit your USB charging cord. Sure, there's a cheaper, smaller, and still a respectable option with the 5 Watt Apple® Charging Cube, or those cheap non-recommended square knock off version charging cubes that will work at least until you get home from the discount store, but be prepared to wait for the power to deliver at a much slower speed. Think of 5 Watts as driving 50 miles per hour and 12 Watts as driving and passing vehicles at 120 miles per hour, big difference in power and speed. (We do not recommend you drive that fast) but there should be no speed limits for Apple® charging, and this is like stepping on the accelerator going in the right direction. The size of the adapter is not much larger than the Apple® Charging Cube, and you won't even care or notice the difference in size. The 12 Watt Apple® USB Power Adapter is not heavy or overwhelming, but has some weight that feels like nothing but pure quality. It is smooth with rounded corners, and the metal prongs (the two metal things at the end that fit in the electric socket) fold up making it comfortable to carry in any situation. Once out of the box, you can be confident that your Apple® Power Adapter will start working hard charging all your Apple® products with the power they deserve and all your Apple® products will love you for it.
