I’ve had this for a few months now and I must say I am in love!! The fact that this has a ram door makes all the difference in the world. I added so much ram for 50 bucks myself, which saved 300 bucks going through Apple. It’s fast, the screen is fantastic, and there’s no reason to own another computer for 8-10 years.

This computer is beautiful in so many ways, from design to monitor resolution quality. It's also a quite powerful computer for the average user. We bought it for our receptionist desk. It projects a statement of quality and confidence to our clients and it gets the job done.

I love the screen. It’s perfect for my work as an online teacher.

This is my first iMac in 25 years of owning several other Macs. I must say - Macs last FOREVER!!!! The only reason I've had to replace one is because as the system gets older it can no longer be upgraded. I'd say they last a good 10+ years before needing replacing and I hope that's the same deal for this iMac! In the past I've had Mac Pros. The iMac is not as powerful as a Mac Pro and the slower speed is a little frustrating at times but at 1/3 the price you can't beat it - plus it IS gorgeous! I use my iMac for graphic design using the Adobe Creative Suite. I keep a lot of windows open and different programs open. Sometimes it can't handle having too many open programs at once. Normally I'll have PShop and AI open as well as InDesign and a browser. If that's all you need, this iMac would be good for you. Otherwise upgrade to more than 8GB. I haven't worked with any video programs on here so cannot comment on that.

Having been an Apple fan for 20 years, it was an easy decision to replace my wife’s 9 year old failed 27” IMac. Got on line and within 30 minutes I found Best Buy stocking exactly what I needed. Reserved the unit online and went to the store about 19 miles from home. On arrival, the BB reps at pickup found the order, told me they found the unit on the truck being unloaded, and that they expected the unit up front in about 30 minutes. Was given updates 2 times during the wait. The box appeared and all the inventory tags were scanned and I was on my way. Best Buy listed this unit at a very good price and with my time machine backup, my wife was back using her brand new IMac within 3.5 hours of the original machine demise.

This computer is simply the best! The ease of operation and the speed of running applications is amazing. You simply cannot go wrong with this PC. The monitor is awesome and the 5K is out of this world.

The center of my Apple ecosphere. The speed of operations and beauty of the display on this iMac continue to be impressive. I have no interest in replacing this desktop yet and that is the ultimate test of value for me. Sometimes you feel a product's limitations immediately, or shortly after you begin using it, but I have not had that disappointment with this machine. Of course, the more Apple devices you have, the more value this machine will have as your network anchor, but even if it is your only computer, it will still be a remarkable product.

I love almost everything about this computer. It essentially replaced my 2010 iMac that was no longer eligible for updated Mac operating systems. While it still started up (although painfully slow), the 4GB of ram just killed any kind of functionality. Fast forward to January, and I had some gift cards and wanted to put it to good use. I purchased what was essentially the base model, middle of the road processor speed, and 1TB hard drive. 8GB is rather antiquated, but the fact that I could add additional RAM, I figured I'd purchase this anyway. I like that my eyes don't get strained while spending hours on end in front of the computer. For some reason the screen gets these weird spots that look like they are either dead pixels or some kind of black hole spot. But i'm able to just wipe them away. (Is this par for the course for Retina displays? *shrugs* My old computer didn't have it.) All in all, and so far, I'm pretty pleased. Purchased Apple Care in case anything ends up wrong with it.

The design is classic, and hasn't got outdated yet. This one is replacing my 2008 or 2009 iMac; whichever was the last model with the CD burner/DVD player inside. As such, this is a lot lighter and more sleek looking. This also has the Retina display sot hat when I sit in front of the computer longer than I intend to, my eyes don't get as tired. I was debating as to whether or not to drop another grand just to get more RAM. (For some reason the MacBook Pro's base models come with 16 GB, but with the desktops, they're 8.) Nowadays, 8GB is a bare minimum for RAM. I don't use heavy duty applications, ore more than one at a time, but I'm doing a lot of things at once, and sometimes keep multiple tabs open. So, as you can see, I'd love more RAM. However, the new iMac models allow you to add more RAM. So if this ever becomes an issue for me, I can install more. Overall, quite happy with this purchase!

I recently upgraded my 2012 iMac to this beauty. It not only starts up fast and loads my Lightroom library of 130,000 photos in less than a minute (compared to 15 minutes on my old Mac), the retina screen is gorgeous. I'm also happy that the new magic mouse and keyboard are rechargeable!

TV has great screen view and quality picture. I am very disappointed that to pay high dollar for this product, it does not provide the simple bolts needed to place the TV on a wall mount. I've had to order bolts that I don't know if they will fit until I get them. If you are provided a product that is stand mounted, you have the necessary items for that. If you want to wall mount it, you DON'T have the necessary items for that. You have the holes where the mount would go but no bolts. I can understand not having other accessories, but simple (4) bolts not being with the TV is beyond belief. AND I absolute believe I will not get ANY RESPONSE to this review. Have a GREAT DAY to the person who reads this (if anyone does). Even your GEEK SQUAD would not help me.

It was a Mother's Day gift and Wow! She was impressed with the pics, graphics and various options to save documents as well as graft work projects!! The Rep was very informative, knowledgeable and patient. The Geek Squad were very informative, patient and accommodating to our concerns and requests.

After having this computer for several months I can say it has exceeded my expectations. Great big easy to read screen. Beautiful HD imagery, and a fast processor. I use it for both business and personal. Highly recommend it.

Let me start off by saying my biggest worry with this unit (27" 2019 iMac with the 3.1GHz i5) was the Fusion drive it comes with. Let's get it out of the way now. The Fusion drive sucks compared to an actual SSD or nVME storage, but it's not as bad as I thought it would be and shouldn't be an issue for most everyday users. Power users who edit 4k and 8k video will more than likely notice how much slower it is but you can get an external thunderbolt storage drive to keep your video files on and that should solve the problem. Everything else about this system is awesome. The 27" iMacs have user upgradable RAM, which is awesome and saves you money as opposed to special ordering/upgrading through Apple. The screen is top notch and better than most. Great colors, very bright and of course 5k. While doing everyday tasks this thing is whisper quiet, much quieter than my gaming PC is even at idle. Performance has been great. Everyday tasks are no problem for this unit. Editing HD video has been smooth and speedy. Multi tasking is no problem. I regularly have several applications open and running and typically have two applications front and center on split screen and never see a slow down. Obviously as an all in one this thing looks great and takes up a minimal amount of space. The keyboard and Magic Mouse 2 is great, feature wise, but I have large hands so it is not that comfortable. The wireless keyboard and mouse have great battery life and don't need to be charged very often. Mac OS is great and has been working as expected, even though I still miss a few 32 bit applications/games. If you are already invested in the Apple ecosystem this is a great addition. My biggest gripe is I wish it had more Thunderbolt/USB C ports, as it only has two. The build quality is top notch, as expected. I was going to try and wait for a new model to be announced but gave in when this one went on sale and have no regrets.

My wife older 27" iMac had a fatal meltdown and Apple had just come out with the NEW iMac 27" (2019) and it has done an excellent job of replacing the dormant one. It's faster and has a 5K screen. Better in every way.

Upgraded from a 21” and I absolutely love it! The display is ridiculously beautiful! Speed is fast and I love how I don’t have to change batteries on my mouse or keyboard anymore! Love it!

I love this iMac All In One computer! It has a 27 inch screen and the visuals are excellent! It was easy to set up and it works great! Love the mouse and keyboard also.

Updated my computer. Had the previous for over 12 years and it just wouldn't stop working. Passed it on to my grandchild I love my new computer it does so much Did not realize how much faster this one was. Thank you to the GeekSquad for transferring all my old data. The way the Mac goes, it will probably be the last one I buy. Thank you again to the staff at Best Buy, my purchase was made so easy.

Fast, sharp image, powerful Mac. This Mac has everything I need to accomplish my work. The screen is an excellent size for all my editing needs.
