As of this time, we have been pretty happy with our 27 iMac purchase. In the end, it was a pretty expensive purchase, but we chose some upgrades that we felt were necessary for our needs.

Was a lot bigger then we thought, but once we set it up on our desk it looked great: it's thin design is forgiving and doesn't look to bulky. Upgraded from a 2010 Mack book pro; the first thing I noticed great picture and the super sonic speed.

Big $$ purchase, but seems worth it so far. No major problems. Picture quality and speed is excellent. Trouble transferring photos from old MacBookpro. Bought AppleCare and it still is not resolved. Hopefully soon.

I bought this to replace an older PC. While the transfer of data and settings could have been better, that really has to do more with the differences in Macs and PCs and the general lack of cooperation between the two worlds. Once up and running this machine was a dream.

So worth waiting for delivery to get this machine vs buying one in store with less 'ummph'. Great product!

I love this computer. I'm a filmmaker and the power of this computer is able to keep up with 4K editing.

I purchased this to help make my life easier, to my surprise it does much more than I expected. Just the other day I needed something to eat and it found the food that I like and had it delivered to my front door! Also it was very instrumental in the purchase of my new car and showed me the best possible price- thousands below what I would have paid if I didn't use this wonderful machine. Basically it will pay for it's self within a week if you are looking to buy a large item. Aside from the great value it also starts up very fast, I am up and running within 1 minute of powering it on and the large screen is great for working on multiple projects at the same time. I tend to have at least 52 tabs open at any giving time and this computer handles everything without a problem. I use both Mac and windows and hands down I prefer this i7 over the previous Mac Pro and i7 windows PC. The only downside I have is that using some programs that are primarily written for windows tend to run slower on the Mac, I can't fault Apple for that but it is disappointing to not be able to utilize the full potential due to software constraints. Sure this computer can't be upgraded and eventually it will become outdated so I recommend getting the top of the line so it will last longer. Lastly, my only complaint - the keyboard and mouse; don't bother trying to get use to it, just buy something else or use your old one. It's good to know Apple didn't waist time researching and developing peripherals.

Is actually really great. The i7 enables more capabilities when running things in parallel conpared to the i5. The 2TB fusion drive gives you 128G of a solid state drive(SSD). In other words: you know how annoying it is to load things that you open all the time? Well this solves that very issue. As for the 2TB vs the 1TB the difference is in the amount of storage available in the SSD, 128G vs 24G respectively and the hard drive space is double in the 2TB drive. So if this computer is meant to process large amounts of data than this would be the one for you. The 5K Retina display will render images beautifully. That's an extra 1,280 horizontal pixels and an extra 720 pixels vertically over the 4K that is. Great for editing videos, pictures, 3D modeling and gamers alike.

I've been editing video on PC for a few years already, I've worked with Macs in the past but never for video editing, I migrated my Premiere Pro projects to my new Mac and I absolutely love the speed at which it opens projects and how there are no hiccups when playing my video. I absolutely love this computer, it's definitely the right choice for video editing.

So I have recently looked at every model online for 2 months due to some curious experiences with an iMac from Best Buy. Let's look at this processor speed 3.2, no the i7-6700k is 4.0 with turbo to 4.2 so I'd recommend asking before you buy. Keep in mind this is the same listing that said it was a kaby lake last year. It's a skylake, or haswell either way wrong listing.
