The iPhone works as it should. You just won't get service for it. When I activated it I got a text from ATT saying the phone still had an unpaid balance on it and I'd have to stop using it or pay it off. ATT booted me off the network and I couldn't make calls or send texts. The next day it worked and lasted for a month. Now ATT booted me again saying it's unpaid. Had to get on ATT support call 3 times for them to tell me to go back to Best Buy to get a replacement phone. Because Best Buy's Geek Squad "Certified Refurbished" does not include checking to see if the phone is paid off and able to be used. You're playing the lotto it appears if you buy refurbished nowadays.

Store person who helped me said this phone would be great since I already have ATT account. Wasted time transferring and then it would not recognize SIM, checked device online with ATT - says the device is locked and a different carrier. BB also wasted my time on support chat so long I missed the window to call and talk to someone. Do not trust Best Buy.

Phone lasted less than a year and having issues and have to get a new phone.
