A: Unfortunately you have to purchase a stand alone CD drive. But that is the case (I think) with all computers now, desktop and laptop.

Great for amateur photographers
I bought this primarily for photography. I am an amateur who just loves to take photos and edit with basic editing tools. The Apple Photos app is far superior to the Windows editing tools. The screen is gorgeous. The colors really pop and the photos in some cases even look like they are in 3D. The build quality of the computer is fabulous. I also love that my photos all sync with my iPhone and iPad. I think it’s the best computer for the price point. My only issue is that I have used Windows computers all my life so the transition to the Mac OS is taking some time to get used to.

No regrets
I’ve been shopping for laptops for a long time for my four daughters and now that they we are empty nesters I finally upgraded my old computer for the Apple desktop and I have no regrets. It’s a great computer turns on fast works great also with my iPhone. Very happy with my purchase and customer service received from Best Buy.

Blazing fast and stunning display
The new M4 chip makes this iMac feel incredibly snappy compared to my old Intel model. The 24-inch 4.5K Retina display is gorgeous—colors pop and text is razor-sharp, which makes working from home a joy. I also love that they finally bumped the base RAM to 16GB; multitasking feels much smoother now with zero lag.
