I dropped my iPhone 11 promax in the water and the phone died and I had to replace it quickly. The phone was not waterproof. This is a good basic phone, it does everything and iPhone does but the cameras are the worst camera I guess I’m just spoiled by the promax 11 cameras but they had extreme lens flare. The photographs here in this camera are not very good, it’s due to the low resolution and Portland. There is lens flare issues with this phone too, But it is not as bad as the iPhone 11 but it is not as bad as the iPhone 11 If you need a phone, can’t afford a phone, this is a good option. If you really want cameras, this is not the phone for you. The iPhones aren’t waterproof, make sure you have waterproof cases because if your phone does get wet and stops working, Apple won’t cover it unless you have insurance The iPhones aren’t waterproof, make sure you have waterproof cases because if your phone does get wet and stops working, Apple won’t cover it unless you have insurance.

I purchased the 2nd gen SE to replace my 1st gen SE which developed a bad charge port after four years of use. The 2nd gen SE is slightly larger than 1st gen (same as I-phone 8) but has the powerful chip of the I-phone 11. Certainly a noticeable improvement on processing speed over 1st gen. I also like the wireless induction charge capability of the 2nd gen and improved camera. Overall quite pleased with the 2nd gen SE as I really don't like carrying a phone the size and weight of the I-phone X or 11. I did the new phone set up on my own and it was easy. All data and apps copied from the old phone with no problem.

This is a great little phone (compared to all those hudge ones). I had a iphone SE for a few years and liked it so when I needed a new phone I decided on the new SE for several reasons. No learning curve since it's simple to use just better. Not too big since wanted something that would fit in my cell phone pockets of several of my handbags . Would love the 11 camera but compromised. I really don't need alot of the functions on the other more expensive phones and so far I'm very happy.

I really like this phone. I upgraded from a broken iPhone 8+. This is a great sized phone, can do everything with one hand. It looks great in the red color. It performs smoothly, and the battery is decent.

Replaced an old 5c phone which was getting slower by the day. The SE is a little larger, but seems faster and has more storage for photos and videos. OS changes were not significant so low learning curve with the upgrade. Happpy with the purchase, happy with Best Buy service and price.

Lots of storage. Same size as the 6s. Easy to use. A ton faster than the 6s. Touch ID is great for parents to access the phone if a passcode is set. Compact & easy to use

I bought this as birthday present for my 9 year-old grandson about six weeks ago, because I wanted him to be able to call anytime he wanted, especially since we can't visit in person as often as we used to before the pandemic. He now calls to facetime 2-3 times a week and has clearly mastered a lot of the features of the phone as well, even though it is a fairly basic model. The phone was available at a discount, and I was able to add him to our family plan at a reduced rate. From my perspective--and I expect from my grandson's as well--this was an excellent purchase.

Purchased the phone as an upgrade from the 1st generation SE for my son. He's pleased, as we both compared specs for the 2nd generation SE with alternative brands and models. If you don't need or want a larger format display, this phone has all the power in a smaller footprint. We still have two older 1st generation SE iPhones in the family. I suspect when it's time we'll be upgrading those too.

The perfect size phone with tons of power and a great camera. Very hard to beat for $400 (less with gift cards!).

Glad I just bought this phone without having to deal with rentals, etc. My son was beyond happy and the battery seems to work great. Camera is pretty decent too. Very good phone for the price. Glad they’re keeping the SE series alive, as parental controls, app approvals, etc are much easier with iOS from my experience. Also AppleCare is very reasonable for this phone. Highly recommend to anyone. I’d be able to use this as my daily driver also.

I really like this phone. I wanted something close in size to my iPhone 7 that quit working. I was happy to find out that it fits in my old phone case so I didn’t have to buy a new one. Also it has double the storage that my old one did.

This IPhone SE 2nd Generation is a great purchase at a very reasonable price. It has all the bells and whistles that I need. The screen is a perfect size. I have already taken some really nice pictures with the camera. Get this Iphone you won’t be diaappointed!

I bought this phone for my daughter. It's a great choice for a 1st phone. The quality is there, the only thing lacking is all the bells and whistles from other premium phones which probably won't be used anyway. If the kid is going to lose or break it, I rather it have this kind of price tag as to the much more expensive alternatives. You can't beat an iPhone at this price.

So let me confess, I don't buy phones often ... I literally ran the iPhone original until it collapsed, and then upgraded to the iPhone 4 if that tells you how long I keep phones ... then that got broken so I upgraded to the iPhone 5 ... which I had prior to this. My iPhone 5 had finally been giving up the ghost and I had no choice but to upgrade. A little about my uses, I text occasionally, I use the internet rarely, and maybe i take one or two pictures. The iPhone 11 Pro really hit my eye because I thought about how it would future proof me and hold me for quite a few years but the price tag I could not swallow. Enter this phone. I thought I would be disappointed because it didn't have all the bells and whistles. But it's fast, really fast and does all the stuff I need it to. So that means, until this one dies, it will be my phone for the foreseeable future. See you later iPhone 20, can't wait!

There are no leaps and bounds on the device. The camera does a better job at pictures or displays it better. Not sure if that’s tech or software. But it did stand out to me. If my kid didn’t need a new phone I would not have purchased. The price was good as compared to the other options out there. I do like the home button feature and that was what prevented me from the X and 11. It is identical physically to the iPhone 8. To me that that was a positive since I like it to actually fit in my hand and pocket.

I’ve been waiting for this phone to drop for a number of months now. I had a first generation iPhone SE that was seven years old. The phone is what I’ve come to expect from Apple products. It performs very well with no downside that I can currently see. I’ve recommended this phone to a number of people who are looking to upgrade without spending significantly more. I would buy another one in a heartbeat.

My daughter’s 6S could no longer hold a charge so went to IPhone heaven . I was going to purchase her an XR but her hands are small so when I saw the new SE and saw the specs I decided to try it. I’m glad I did . Has everything she needs and fits nicely in her hand . She’s super happy which is a huge plus .
