A: My wife and I had a similar problem not being able to cast to our smart tv (Vizio). While you can use the adapter we found a better solution and roughly the same price (maybe a few dollars cheaper). We added an Amazon Firestick to our tv and we’re able to download the Beachbody directly to the tv. No wires and it’s always ready to use. You can also use Apple TV but a more expensive option. Congratulations for using Beachbody. Keep up the good work.
Q: Will this connect from ipad air to a projector ?
A: I have used this to connect to a projector through the VGA port. With some programs it will project a source file, like a movie file, otherwise it will just project whatever is on the screen. You may need to change the screen size, resolution etc. on the projector, much like you adjust a monitor. Newer projectors do not have a VGA input. In that case you can use the iPad to an HDMI
