I bought high-end iMacs all my life, however, ever since working remotely I switched to Windows with company laptop but other commitments kept me updating my iMac computer due to out-dated hardware/software incompatibilities. This time I decided to adopt the mac-mini and I am beyond satisfied. All my window peripherals work seamlessly, all my external storage devices mount properly. Also, I bought a HDMI 4K video switch to toggle my 37inch monitor between mac and windows it just works great. I added a 5 USB hub and suits me best. Performance is second to none, for less than half the cost of a iMac, you just cant buy anything out there that can match it, M2 chip is a total winner. I highly recommend it without any reservation.

I recently bought an Apple Mac Mini at Best Buy, and it has been a great addition to my setup. It’s compact but delivers excellent performance, making it perfect for everyday tasks like browsing, streaming, and even more intensive work like video editing. The speed is impressive, thanks to Apple’s M1/M2 chip, and everything runs smoothly without any lag. I also appreciate the variety of ports for connecting accessories and external monitors. Overall, it’s a fantastic choice if you’re looking for a powerful yet affordable desktop computer.

Replaced our iMac with the Mac mini m2. Does all we could want with lots of power/speed at a very small space profile. For the money the best Apple purchase in line up past MacBook Pro.

I've always wanted to try Mac and this little machine is excellent! Coming from Windows, there was a learning curve to use the Macintosh System, but overall I'm loving it. It really is a space saving machine and user friendly. When it comes to RAM (Random Access Memory), Mac uses RAM a little bit differently than Windows does. For probably 90% of people, the 8GB of RAM is great for most applications. It should handle schoolwork, email, streaming, and light video editing. (NOTE: I personally don't regularly edit videos) If you are planning on doing heavy video/photo editing, or even gaming (Windows is probably better equipped for gaming) you might want to consider the 16GB or 32GB RAM version of the Mac Mini. For $599, it's a great deal and a safe introduction to the Mac world.

Even though this is a base model, if you're coming from Windows then forget everything you know about base model specs. The way these function is remarkable. I have two, one for work and one for audio recording. My work mini is solid and seamlessly works with all of my remote work apps and integrates with all of my other apple devices. The mini I use for audio recording works fantastic and I never hit its processing limits, even when working on multitrack projects containing 24 audio tracks along with some virtual instrument instances. I recommend these to everyone who's looking for a computer that you just have to turn on and never have to worry about again. I've got 23 years experience in IT and these are the most trouble free devices I've ever used.

Perfect size and speed! I was looking for a desktop to eliminate plugging and unplugging my laptop. The mini is perfect! The price was perfect and it takes up minimal space on my desk. Set-up is simple and quick!

Really nice look , the fact I can use it for editing videos ,pictures and the basic home tasks it’s all what I need , the M2 chip handles really well for my needs , if you have the setup already (monitor, keyboard, mouse etc) make this option really cheap compared to buy a MacBook

Setup was seamless and straightforward. I purchased the M2 with hopes it would be able to handle multiple tabs while editing videos. It does a decent job but ever so often I have to reboot the system to get videos to play and sound to come through. I read about this in forums when I began troubleshooting. For the price, you can’t beat it. I mean it’s cheaper than an iPhone.

The Mac mini is an incredible pc. Everything that happens on it is so smooth and it integrates almost seamlessly into my daily life. It’s very easy to use and fast at doing any task you put in front of it. macOS is extremely fast and capable thanks to the M2 chip. The only things I don’t like is that it doesn’t include a mouse or keyboard and that its speakers are worse than many other computers. So if you buy one, I would recommend buying an external speaker. But overall, I definitely recommend buying one. The Mac mini is a pc that is worthy of your money.

Overall I am really pleased I went with the mini Mac. I use them at work and love the ease and the continuity from my hand held devices. It streamlines my world which, let’s face it, we could ALL use! It’s fast enough for our school work and some gaming, but nothing too advanced. I like to an anti virus capability of the Apple products and haven’t had any issues with that either. Home or office thank God!

I love the speed on this. Integrates well with all Apple products and airdrops well. Bought it as a work computer and does well editing videos. Runs circles around the building with its speed. Nice and compact and does not take up too much desk space. No one even knows it’s there.

1- Best Value for Chip performance & security 2- Is like a book in your shelft - 3- I am not an apple fan at all the main reason, is because the frustration of update after update, with windows (Windows 11th was s battle for who has the control... in the system). I sacrifice some programs and who cares. There are plenty of other ones better - CONS -I know that everyone already know the port- hubs festival for all users - Omg - In Conclusion = Ecosystem and Workflow gadget with powerfull M1 -M2 - M3 - M4 The only thing left is and Ipad for portability am a marketing analyst and a photographer. I have storage for default ;) iphone naaaaa

Great little computer. A lot cheaper than a new iMac that it’s replacing. Easy setup with Time Machine. Also like that has latest OS. Reused mouse & keyboard. Used a monitor I already had and good to go.

It does everything I needed it to but I was lacking some additional storage after the purchase. I acquired a Mac Mini dock with an expandable NVME SSD internal storage slot. That add on just bettered what was already a great machine. It's powerful enough to run multiple platforms with ease. Plus it's a Mac so ease of use, simplicity, security all satisfied my needs.

I got a really good deal for this device. Need it for some software development work. It is compact and good enough for the purpose. Setting up is easy. I can connect a HP dock to this mac mini to drive multiple displays. No complaints so far.

This is really an amazing, compact computer that is great for just about anything you need to do. It's fast, and working with MacOS is just a great experience, especially coming from the Windows side. I paired this with a 32" curved monitor and an Apple keyboard and trackpad, and it's all working great together.

The MacBook M2 models strike a strong balance between power, portability, and battery life. They’re ideal for most users—especially students, business professionals, and creatives doing light to moderate workloads. While not built for the most demanding tasks, they offer incredible value and performance for their size. If you’re upgrading from an Intel Mac or even the M1 MacBook Air, the M2 delivers a noticeably better experience—but power users should consider M2 Pro/Max options or the newer M3 lineup.

These things are sweet, the M2 chips really are stellar. If you're looking for something that is just plug and play, these fit the bill perfectly. Also mounts very cleanly behind a monitor or TV depending on the type of setup you're doing. We mounted them directly to the backs of the TVs and use a wireless keyboard/mouse to connect.

This little beast is awesome. I’ve been a windows user my whole life and wanted to try one of these for years. I definitely do not regret it and works more seamlessly with the I phone than any windows computer does with any other phone. Small enough that it doesn’t take up too much space and portable enough if needed.

The Mac mini M2 with 8GB RAM and a 256GB SSD is a compelling choice for users seeking a cost-effective entry into the Mac ecosystem. It's well-suited for general computing tasks, media consumption, and light creative work. However, users anticipating heavier workloads or requiring more storage and memory should consider configuring the Mac mini with higher specifications at the time of purchase, as upgrades are not possible later.
